They were a great band live.Ok remember them playing in the early eighties at the airman's club at RAF Upper Heyford UKafter the show their van broke down and we put them up in our dorm until the could make arrangements to get it fixed and get them on their way to their next gig We chatted up the night over some beers and got them on their way the next morning.They were really down to earth girls and enjoyed chatting them up about music our families and what not.

Been aware of Girlschool for about 15 or 16 years. Was made aware by Fenriz of Darkthrone who mentioned them in a blog interview around 2006 or so. Never made a connection between them and Motörhead.

I remember meeting Enid outside the Electric Ballroom in early 1980. We were in London for the weekend and it was good timing that Girlschool were playing, supported by Witchfynde. Excellent gig.
