Alex and Jon's story of loss was so incredibly heartbreaking😢. I gave birth last year and I cannot fathom going through that loss. It's amazing that they are making content showing how that feels. Truly special people!❤

My son was stillborn when I was 27 weeks pregnant 10 months ago. I remember seeing them announce losing Leo and it broke me all over again. I knew exactly what they were going through and I hate that so many people go through this. Talking really does help. Listening to them talk in this feels like I'm listening to myself and my husband, it's insane. I love that they're talking about it bc it really isn't talked about and it should be. It's so much more common than people would think. Our babies deserve to be remembered and acknowledged. It sucks, but it's also nice hearing others talk about their experience bc it really does help others going through the same pain feel less alone. It's truly a club noone ever thinks they'll be apart of, but if they do it's nice to know they aren't alone. They truly have helped me and I hope they truly know how many people they are helping by talking about their experience. My husband and the rest of my family were my absolute rocks. My mom handled everything for us and we could never thank her ever enough.

I'm very proud of Ashley for not verbally comparing her grief of losing Dewy to their grief of losing a human child. Love this episode, it had all the feels xx

My story with our first baby is exactly like yours from start to finish. We just welcomed our rainbow boy and while the pain is stays there, there is a light again ❤

Our baby was just diagnosed with a fatal form of skeletal dysplasia at 16 weeks gestation. We are having so many similar emotions and experiences right now. Our sweet Theo won’t likely make it, and it’s going to be horrible. But hearing stories like theirs helps so much. Thank you. 😭

I feel you dear. I am so sorry you are going through this, I had a similar experience. I had to do a tfmr (termination for medical reasons) cause my baby had a trisomy and wouldn’t make it outside the mothers womb. I was induced by 18 weeks and my world was shattered, honestly I felt like a part of my soul and heart was lost. Its been 4 months since that day but now we have managed to find a place of peace, it hurts, it will always hurt and you can’t move on, but you find a way yo “accommodate” that pain so you can live a happy life. There is no greater pain. I am sorry, really!

As a wife whose husband is a trucker.. 😮 My husband has an associates degree when he took his truck driving classes at our local college. I don’t think any truck driver is “Dumb” They make this world go round especially when the pandemic happened. My husband was on the go none stop while y’all were at home & on lockdown. That “joke” wasn’t funny. You can’t compare a physical therapist to a truck driver. BOTH are necessary and I hope you never have to have a surgery where you need physical therapy after.

Just so wild to hear about their son, it’s so similar to what we went through in 2023. It’s not like a miscarriage, it’s not sudden and unexpected. It’s the long suffering and uncertainty that wears at your soul. It’s a certain hell that few have to fight and push hard to live through it. So happy to see them smiling and laughing 💖 it does get easier with time

Alex has perfect funny/smart combo and Jon is the everyman that everyone likes, cool dude, i dont like most famous viral couples, these two are legit great. When the MD told us that these days 1 in 4 women will lose their pregnancy, it completely blew our mind, there is almost Zero information about this in social media, Its insane

The last name thing…as someone who took my ex-husband’s last name and I absolutely despised my in laws…the fact it’s his parents last name absolutely matters. I had such a hard time taking my ex husbands last name BECAUSE of his family.

My children and I have a hyphenated last name ! And my now grown children LOVE it. Now when they were little , it was a struggle for them to learn how to spell it / write it correctly as no one else in their classes had hyphens!!

It took my husband & I 4 and a half years to have a baby and my entire pregnancy I was terrified something would bad happen. I completely understand what Alex was getting at because it’s so sucky that something can happen at ANY point in pregnancy. I’m incredibly sorry for your loss Alex & Jon. I wish there was more the universe could do to make it less sucky.

Love Alex and Jon!! ❤️🔥 we got pregnant the first time the same way they did 😂 Also, can relate to the anxiety around the things that could go wrong during pregnancy 🥺 I feel it so hard about “there is no safe zone”. I’m watching this holding my 11 week old baby and I STILL feel this… but with her as a baby now. Having kids is so stressful and keeping her safe/healthy.

I love Alex and Jon. Can’t wait to listen their podcast again❤. Also, I was really annoyed when you laughed at the person’s story about living in one bedroom house with toddler even though their parents are rich AF. Probably, they refused to get financial help from them. Also, not everyone has the same financial situation as other people!!! Please be more respectful!

Solution for the in law question: they can pay for the daughter in law and toddler to have a hotel room - or just the daughter in law at the hotel - and everyone else can share the 1 bedroom

You would imagine two women as hosts would be great for this topic but this couldn't have been a harder watch. Such little consideration and care for this couple. Just because they are comedians does not mean you can joke with them. They are the talent and the show . Shouldve let them lead honestly.

I am happy to have come to the GGE community via Jon and Alex, you guys are great! I know it's super parasocial and all but I really do love Alex and Jon. I know I don't actually know them, but from what I see and what they share, it's easy to fall in love with these too!! Side note: editing was a little wonky, I could see the cuts. This makes me feel like ....weird as a watcher, do you think it's okay to maybe write a notice about why there are edits/what they are to keep transparency?

I watched for Alex and Jon ❤ the questions were great they did amazing they are my fav! To the girls who gotta eat judging people who are trump supports is wrong. We are all human we only get 2 chooses neither are wrong in there own light. You don’t know someone until you know them who cares what political party you stand for it’s all games at the end of the day. Sad to the people watching that feel judged.
