Ugh those critics were awful! I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't even watch the show because they said some ridiculous stuff. They couldn't get facts straight and were just judgmental and biased, and likely jealous. I'm with Holly on [many] boomer women being mean; they can be just as misogynistic as men too. It is amazing how much we can talk about this show that happened almost 20 years ago now. I’ve read Holly’s book, I watched her recaps on her own channel, and here I am absolutely obsessed with this podcast that I just discovered a few days ago, still completely interested in everything you guys have to say about each episode. I was around 12 or 13 when the show aired and the fact that they tried to make Kendra look like the "nice" "real" one is laughable to me. I found her to be spacey, vacous, annoying and not honest. Basically just saying whatever, whenever. True colors definitely came out in the show eventually lol. Holly was the funniest and quirkiest (in a good way!❤) while Bridget was the sweetest and most sincre.

Holly is very smart. She would be a good psychologist. Bridget is also smart, but since she is so naturally nice and doesn't have the edge that Holly does, Bridget is seen as a bit of a lightweight, when in reality, she is also smart. I think Holly is more of a deep thinker, and has experienced more psychological pain.

Sorry to say, but it sounds like Anastasia's personality was very selfish and obnoxious with no regard for how she effects other people. The story about running out of the party making people look for her, making other people do her hair and makeup when they were busy, and the other about going to black Angus and getting her sister in trouble really exemplifies this. Maybe it was immaturity, or call it little sister syndrome, I just hope she's a better person now. It looks like the sisters are really close now so I guess it's all good.
