Could be interesting. Maybe a breakaway will gain 5 minutes on a stage (like Ben O'Connor in the vuelta) and we get a less typical winner. Can't say I'm likely to watch many of the stages live - looking forward to your recaps!

Making your geographical comments on Italy I think you forgot about the Apennines. Just a huge long mountainous backbone along the length of Italy. ;) Easy done ey! :)

It's an overwhelming route... so many flat stages or stages that are not quite hard enough to be GC days... The riders make the race but this route is not promising... Maybe the list of racers going will make it somewhat exciting.

Worst GT route I can remember for a while. Yikes. Not much point watching stages other than 2, 7, 9, 10, 16, 19, 20 by the looks of it

Yeah it’s pretty bad. Last giro was great route but only Pog went. This Giro maybe we at least getting better top riders lol 😅

If the weather becomes bad like in 2023, it will be lots of breakaways which can be boring since GC won’t be battling until the third week
