Replacement part for the latest ( 1/22)Aether spherical roc loc? See nothing online.Looks fragile and likely difficult to replace.

That consumer price is crazy.. Too much design time for extremely marginal if any arguable gains. How long did it take for the engineering team to make the logo? I imagine sponsored riders would be the predominant ones to wear it at that price. Trickle down tech please. 300$ above the top end helmets for a 1C potentialy perceptible thermal difference..

Too late I already own Giro Synthe with MIPS, I got it new bout a year ago; soooo it might be a while until I upgrade(unless it gets destroyed in a bike crash god forbid)

I would think their solution isn’t as good and not as effective. Giros rocks side to side seemingly where mips has more of a rotation twist which is more inline with crashes I’ve been apart of. I would and do choose mips over giros solution no question.

broadfjord ! Where are you getting side to side from? The helmet is spherical so "side to side" is rotating around the center of your head. Spherical MIPS is still MIPS, it's just implemented at a different layer.

Saurabh Kulkarni Most crashes people are involved in, are front and back of the head impacts. Impacts on the side of head happen just not as much. The “mips” rotates around the head on a horizontal plain which is more in line with front and back of the head impact support to dissipate the energy. The giro version seems to rotate around the head(side to side) on a vertical plain while this still will dissipate the energy, I’ll put my money on the “mips” version everyday of the week. Ok, ok......like the wind
