Most people take the magazine disconnect to get a better trigger feel. But hi power trigger out of box suck imho.

I have one and it’s great. I plan to get maybe the SA35 in the future. But the Girsan I have, it’s a great gun and I always wanted a Hi Power. Now, I bought it for collecting and shooting for fun. But my choice for the apocalypse is the CZ75B.

This pistol was designed to be a military service pistol that has been adopted and used by over 90 countries all over the world before the Glock series came about.

The original Browning Hi Powers were 13 round mags. The current mags are now 15 round.

I love my Girsan. I have no trigger issues and i dont mind the mag disconnect thingy. My best shooting gun tbh, and aye, it feels great to shoot.

The trigger will NEVER be like a 1911. It is a GREAT clone, that accepts original parts that work. NO proprietized parts or design. Can't beat the price. The best part....it AINT polymer.

Almost bought the Hi-Power in 40 cal back in the late 90s. My buddy talked me out of it and got a Sig P220 .45 for $200 less. Still like the looks of the Hi-Power tho.

People who whine about trigger pulls always make me laugh. Especially since the base models of these are based on period correct service weapons. Its not a custom 1911. Its a clone of a 80+ year old military weapon.

I own the FN clone and I've shot old Browning ones made in Belgium and they all have far better triggers than this thing. It's horrible. It feels like dragging a fingernail over sandpaper. I'd be grossly derelict in my duty if I reviewed the gun without pointing out that it has an absolutely terrible trigger. The point of a review is that if you go shoot one you won't have any surprises and you'll be like "yeah, he pointed out all the important stuff and was honest," and this is a notable standout.

Feels a lot better with the magazine disconnect removed for the trigger.

Lovely gun for the budget but I do wish it looked more like a classic Hi power.

I have one of those, the trigger is fine. Maybe if you clean it first, it will be alot smoother.

Just bought this gun but the Commie fornia version I must say it isn’t all bad at all I bought the Recover Tactical HPC Grip & Rail system on big unit that requires to remove the grips and in replace you get grips and a rail system integrated into one and a Swampfox RMSc Footprint micro Red Dot like any new gun I get I always suggest before you fire disassemble clean it and lubricate it idk what your preference is oil or grease but go based upon your local climate for me Grease holds better than oil in my firearms cause I’m in a hot ass desert so grease works and stays in place not like oil in hot climates where it wants to run every where

Come on !!!!!!! tell us how you really feel about the trigger LOL .

Yea definitely the worst trigger ever. I removed the magazine safety & installed a BHS Spring Solutions trigger spring. Definitely improved the feel.

Peehaps that you did not know that the trigger is typical for this type of gun with a magazine disconnect. Remove the magazine disconmect then the trigger will smoth out. It is not a 1911!

Nah, I've shot four or more clones and one original and all of them had far superior triggers. This was one of the worst, grittiest, stickiest triggers I've ever pulled.
@4HUNNIDZ4 ай бұрын
@@ShootingNewsWeeklyDid they have the magazine safety removed ? You just show you aren’t very mechanically inclined. I removed mine and it got rid of some pull weight + all the grit in my trigger. Learn how the mag safeties work in these pistols. I’m 21 it took me 5 min to figure out. It’s not rocket science

I'm literally a gunsmith and a manufacturer. I don't review guns that I've modified. That's ridiculous. Reviews are done on guns as they ship from the manufacturer. Of course. I would be extremely hesitant to tell people to remove a factory safety device in a public review. Lawyers ruin everything. Anyway, the fact remains that this is the WORST trigger of any of these clones or originals even when compared to other models with a magazine safety. What a gun is capable of becoming with various modifications and upgrades isn't a factor here.

In the 90s.. We had 15rd HP mags. I want to say Ramline.. they used a coil spring that was different than a 1911 magazine spring. Imagine THIS gun in WW2. IT was THE wonder 9. If all you had was this gun.. Youd be well served. Like others say.. Clean off the factory lube... shoot 500rds drý. Now you have a buttery smooth action. The reviewer is very typical of people born after 1990. Ive got underwear older than he is.

You are giving away how little you know about the Hi Power P35 pistol. What you are feeling in the trigger is the magazine disconnect plunger rubbing against the front of the magazine tube. The histrionics are a little bit much.
@ShootingNewsWeekly4 ай бұрын
Nah, it's disgusting in comparison to other ones that also have a mag safety. It feels like squeaky sandpaper.
