A heads up about repercussion triggers: the active player's triggers go on the stack first and so they resolve last. This means that even if lethal repercussion triggers are on the stack on you, if your opponents already die from the other repercussion triggers, you will win with the deadly repercussion triggers still on the stack.

Took my Gisela aka the BOROS PRAETOR deck to commander night last night. Doninated in a 3 player game. People kept forgetting the doubling/halving. Especially with Varchilds survivors.

Lol yeah she will do that. One opponent will attack another, and somewhere in the middle of combat i usually remember, oh all damage is doubled.

@@CommanderReplay i tried not to be the "are you sure because damage is doubled?" Guy but couldn't resist. I'm trying to make cuts for cards that boost her power at least 1 because its an easy no blocks 2ko with her.

@@dangerfield6855 Yeah or 1 shot with double strike. Cathedral of war is a very reasonable option that only takes a land slot, just becareful on colorless sources. Both modes of citadel siege can also be really helpful. Heroes blade isnt awful as it free equips. Then of course any anthems that exist, the vigilance from always watching is solid with something like this.

Repercussion is fuckin' nutty with damage doubling effects. having two doubles with Dictate and Gisela took your Chandra's Ignition from 5 to 20 against face and creatures, then each Repercussion trigger from 20 to 80 damage. They were all dead even without dictate, though it would have required you to attack the K&T player since they had flickered all their creatures.

In my girlfriend's kalia deck, she once dropped Gisela turn 3 and the indestructible avacyen turn 4 and took out 2 players. Gisela is zero jokes, all smoke

I used to run Gisella hate bears/group slug. Gisella's double damage made the hate bears into viable threats.

Yeah Gisela is a really serious magic card, it can make anything into a threat. Hatebears are great especially as you run into decks that like to do unfair things.

I love gisela in the 99 and almost always glad to draw her. Fiery emancipation is good but you can't have anything in your deck that pings you. I almost lost an easy win because of mana crypt and mana vault

Lol thats a great point. I havent played it enough yet to have it come up, but it sure seems like it could cause problems. Seems like maybe you dont run that one down there all willy nilly, and really gotta make sure you have a plan and smoe follow up actions when you do. Basically everything is lethal with triple damage.

Lol yeah me too. A few extra cards in a Boros deck can make all that difference. General with Boros all of your cards need to be really high quality and high impact, so even a few extras can really put the game in your favor.

No. Fiery Emancipation is absolutely NOT overkill in Gisela. Especially if your build is full burn with X spells and copy spells, like the way I built it. The few times I had resolved it, it instantly won the game, as with Gisela, the final value of the damage is six times as much. So, when you Comet Storm for X = 5, they all take 30 just from that, and the Emancipation on it's own makes Gisela deal 30 commander damage, if that's your thing. My build has no ways to go infinite. It's always finite, and every damage value is reached on foot. Also, Repercussion is a silly card, on this board state, it wins instantly. Because, for each damage value that is being doubled by Gisela, then doubled by Dictate, Repecussion remembers that damage and creates a new instance of damage, which gets doubled again by Gisela and again by Dictate. Silly, silly card. Silly, silly fun. My highest record for damage from one Repercussion trigger is 5120 damage to one opponent. I've done that by copying the Insult part of Insult To Injury like seven times or something, creating another doubling effect each time, meaning that when I attacked with Gisela and they blocked with an indestructible flyer, Repercussion overkilled them for the next 128 games. Silly, silly fun.

I mean a little group draw when you're running Smothering Tithe can be pretty good. Running your own wheels should be enough but i can't help but feel Temple Bell might be worth it.

@@Darchias Temple Bell would be a 100% upgrade to howling mine. It's in the similar vein as Mikokoro in that you can control when your opponents get the card. That said, giving your opponents cards is a bad time, as CR's opponents realized this game. 3 howling mine effects got him into a winning position.
