I'm Roman Catholic from Hungary. I visited Israel with my family for the first time not long ago, and it has charmed all of us. For me, the biggest culture shock was simply to see road signs reading: "Jerusalem"... I am an American Jew from New York and what you wrote about the relationship between the Jewish people and the land of Israel and it being a love story was/is absolutely beautiful and poetic. It warmed my heart to read that. I lived in Italy for a little while, was incredibly fortunate to attend a pope mass at the Vatican, I have many Catholic friends who have been so supportive and it makes my heart break that terrorists have destroyed churches along with synagogues. Hello. My Grandmother was from Romania. I never was able to meet her - she died in childbirth, in America, when my Mother was only 11. I did meet her surviving sister, my Mother's Aunt, when I was in High School. She was quite Elderly and spoke no English. Her daughter, my Mother's cousin, translated for us. I could feel her love, & felt my own Grandmother as I sat close to her & held her hands. I love this song. I remember hearing it as a child. This song fills my heart, mind & soul. It brings a small bit of peace to me, as I Pray & cry for the People of Ukraine. Thank you.

I'm a South African and Jews are an admirable community. I am a Christian and have a very deep love for the Jewish people. God has brought many Jewish people my way to bless me. My grandma worked as a cook and house help for the Brodys many years ago. She told us how they showed her much kindness even at a time when she needed funds for her first born to attend college. More than sixty years later I too have had the good turn of experiencing that kindness. The biggest was when a Jewish Specialist Paediatric Cardiologist saved our daughters life. We couldn't raise R900K for her surgery and this doctor did all he could, he pulled some strings for her to have that very expensive procedure. I'll never stop praying for Jewish community here in South Africa, in Israel and the diaspora.
