Consider a scenario that in your local system you have cloned a repository and hou have done the changes and as soon as you trying to push the changes it is saying that your username and email is not correct so how do you fix this issue?? 3. There is something known as head in git can you explain me what is exactly head ?? 4. Could you explain the usage of gir head ?? 5. What is git reset?? 6. Consider a scenario u have to uncommit the last three commits without losing the changes what do you do ?? 7. Let's say I have command git diff head till day three what does supposed to mean?? 8. Whenever you work with a lot of people even if you are a dev tester or a Devops you must have faced like merge conflict or something so could you explain what is exactly git conflict and why does it occur ?? How to resolve conflict ?? 9. What git status do ?? 10. Many time when we do git status it is something is known as untracked what is that suppose to be untracked?? 11. What are the branching strategies you folks use in your system?? 12. What is the difference between git and GitHub?? 13. Have you come across git rebase and can you explain me a situation a real time scenario which you have used git rebase?? 14. Consider the scenario how would you recover any branch that is already pushed changes to the central repository for example you have a laptop ypu you have pushed the branch to the central repository but somehow you deleted it from every members local laptops how can you recover it ?? 15.Have you Heard about the concept of reference logs or reflogs?? 16. Can you explain me what you have done in Ansible then it would be great?? 17. When we say that Ansible is a configuration management tool what do we actually mean?? 18. What do you understand by Ansible tasks?? 19. Can you give an example of it?? 20. Ansible is pull based or push based?? 21. What is the difference between pull based and pull based?? 22. Did you used to write a playbook for that ?? 23. What you were writing in yaml or json?? 24. Let's consider a scenario if I have one master and 100 agents and I have to change the password of the user in all of these 100 agents how will you do it?? 25. What kind of CI CD you folks use?? I want to know whatever you are doing whatever you are building could you explain it in step by step?? 41. What type of application is it?? 42. I am trying to understand what your application do what will it do like is it web based application or desktop based application what is the actual function of this application that you folks are building?? 43. Can you walk me through the Terraform what exactly you folks are building using Terraform?? 44. Which Terraform version you folks are using?? 45. Apart from Terraform have u heard about any other IAC tool?? 46. What do you understand by data sources in Terraform?? 47. Can you give me a example of it how can I use it ?? 48. There is a concept of template file in data source what do we understand by that ?? 49. We have spend 10 vms all of them are Linux vms and we are spinning using Terraform now all of those 10 vms have to have few installations by default that should come consider a scenario let's say we need to have nginx and we need have MySQL these two applications must be installed by default how will your template file help over there and how will you club it with your Terraform?? Just wanted to know your approach?? 50. So as I told that all the servers are Linux based servers right so the formatted is the template file what will you write what will you use ?? 51. You might be heard about the concept of state file right ?? When does this state file gets created at what command?? 52. What happens at Terraform plan ?? 53. What happens at Terraform apply?? Hi, while switching to devops from QA on what basis should i ask exp ctc…means on current ctc or no years of exp.. cause as per no yrs of exp i am underpaid (as conti. With same comp for long time)and asking package on basis of it will not do justice..my exp is 4 yrs and ctc is 5.7..

Hi Ravish,, Yesterday I had an interview with one of big 4 company for the devops engineer.. I don't have any experience in devops.. but I answered 60% of his question and he took 1 hour. but I failed to answer in scenario base question.. one of them is.. how do you identify and solve the software bugs in application which is hosted at Kubernetes cluster ,, can you please help me on this🙏🙏. day by day I am loosing hope.. I invested 1 year to learn devops.. but I cracked interivew with some company but I failed in second round..I'm experiencing growing depression every day.
