Aneka namaskaram and thank you very much Sir. Feel honoured and humbled to receive your blessings. I was initiated into Carnatic Music (vocal) at the age of six by my beloved parents Sri. V. S. Ramchand and Smt. Sivakami in Calcutta under the tutelage of Sri. Panchapakesa Bhagavathar and later on pursued my interest in Central College of Carnatic Music, Chennai. During that time I was blessed with the opportunity to learn both vocal and violin from great musicians, namely Sri. K. V. Narayanaswamy, Sri. B. Rajan Iyer, Sri. T. M. Thyagarajan, Sri. T. N. Krishnan and Sri. Parur M. S. Anantaraman. I also undertook advanced training from Smt. Rajalakshmi Narayanan and Sri. R. K. Srikantan. I have been teaching music since four decades and have been conducting Sri Geeta Govindam classes for the past fifteen years here in Chandra Layout Vijayanagar Bengaluru. Children and elders of different age groups learn from me.
