First saw Liliac six years ago at the Santa Monica pier in Santa Monica California. When they would just show up and put coffee cans out for tips. They blew me away then, now they are growing into there music.

Liliac is the future of rock and roll. Excellent on vocals, instruments, and can do original songs as well as covers. Dig into their music but make sure to watch original songs to see how well they do as such a young band. Been watching them for about 3 years and they improve as they get older and will continue to.

Bloody HELL! I'm a Metallica purist, but this is actually a damned good cover, Melody's scream at the entrance sealed it for me and it only got better from there. Still spot on with amazing music. Never heard of this band, I've decided to look them up, THANK YOU GITANA! Sorry if I'm annoying you with reaction requests, but these songs have a much deeper meaning to me than most people. Hungry Lucy's Rainfall is the first song of theirs that someone else knew, and it was a female friend of mine, and she said the song reminded her of me. My Beloved, same band, is a song that my ex-fiancee and I listened to when times were rough. Pentatonix's cover of Lennon's Imagine is better than the original IMO, and that's saying something since I'm a Lennon purist, and Break In by Halestorm featuring Amy Lee is just one of those really really rare love songs that strike a chord when you listen. The significance of the vampire story goes on because of transylvania not sure why you felt obligated to try to disparage on that fact but you be you . When they found really small bats in the south and central America ( _and ONLY there_ ) that lick ( _not drink_ ) blood they named them vampire bats. The bats were named after vampires, not the other way around. The term *Vamp* also has its origin from vampire but the meaning of *Vamp* is totally different. Look up the meaning of *Vamp.*

Great reaction Melody has a very unique voice not many can match both there originals and tributes are phenomenal. Her voice is so unique that Wendy Dio requested they do the Last in Line for Dio cancer fundraiser for Ronnie James Dio birthday tribute Vinny Appici Dios former drummer gave them an unreleased version for the fundraiser and they had one week to learn it and killed it. They are an independent band and there father produces there videos.

Welcome to Lil-e-ac! It's the Romanian word for bat. Both parents are Romanian born that immigrated to the US as children. They met in a church group in LA in High School and married shortly afterwards. The rest is history! To really appreciate Liliac, it's nice to see older and then new. They do awesome covers and fantastic originals. I have them on cd and vinyl. The video kind of mimicked Metallicas original video. Liliac is heavily influenced by DIO. Vinny Appice(Black Sabbath/DIO drummer) has said many times that MeloDia the reincarnation of a female DIO. They recently played the DIO Cancer fundraiser playing the Last in Line. Was the highlight of the show for me. And Dear Father is my favorite of their Queen of Hearts album. You would be amazed. Ethan is on the bass now. The ages in the video was about 16 for MeloDia, 19 for Sam, 18 for Abigail, Ethan 12 and 10 for Justin. Ages are at Justin is turning 14 on 27th, 15 Ethan, MeloDia 19, Abigail 21, and Sam 22. Liliac, pronounced Lily-Ack. It means Bat in Romanian. Hence the Bat wings on their Logo. Their parents are Romanian. Raised in Seattle and L.A. area, but they moved to Atlanta area this year.

Nice reaction. I Subbed. It's pronounced Lilly-ak. Liliac is Romanian for bat. This is an independent band (not signed to a record label therefore you don't need to worry about blocked videos and plus they are reactor friendly giving shout outs sometimes). They do everything themselves from the music, to the videos, to the promoting, to the merch, to the equipment. They are all siblings with current ages and instruments. Samuel- Lead guitar 22, Abigail- Drums 21, Melody- Lead vocals 19, Ethan- Bass guitar 15, Justin- Keyboard/Piano 14. They do both covers and originals. Some of their Covers- Holy Diver, The Trooper, Crazy Train, Master of Puppets, Symphony of Destruction, I Hate Myself for Loving You. I have really liked your reactions. Just recently found you on KZbin and have been watching your past reactions. I am so happy you have done Liliac (Lil-e-ac). They are an amazing young band. They have great original music. This is a cover of Metallica. They range in age from 13 to 22. Sam, lead guitar is 22, Aby, drummer is 21, Melody, lead singer is 19, Ethan, bass is 15 and Justin, keyboard is 13. This video is little older.

They live in the US but originally from Romania. My 1st time hearing them was them performing Crazy Train. Check it out. Another good band is The Iron Cross. Coincidentally, they are Romanian too. They do a lot of covers as well.

I know the dad was involved in the music industry in Romania. He wasnt far from Draculas castle. They went from LA to Georgia too but I didnt feel a need to get all specific.

@@clayzimmerman3318 Gotcha, thanks for explaining. One interesting fact is that being from Transylvania doesn't necessarily mean one is from an area very close to the castle of Vlad Tepes. Transylvania refers to a rather large region actually. My wife is from Transylvania as well, and her hometown is hundreds of miles from that castle (I know because we've made the trip several times). So, just thought you might find that interesting. Have a good one.
