Pretty sure that Melody on vocals was about 17 here and her brother and sister on lead and drums were older, and the other two brothers a bit younger. A couple other fantastic covers they do are by Dio: Rainbow In The Dark and Holy Diver.

Great reaction! A few things: First and foremost, that reaction was a good time. You had some nice things to say about them and not just music/talent related. You appear to be a positive person which seemed to amplify the positive feel good vibes that this band/family emits. You could see it happening throughout the video with your reactions, fun to watch. You nailed the pronunciation of the band name, Liliac. It was very refreshing to hear. You wouldn’t believe the amount of reactors that mispronounce it. Never thought I’d be giving someone kudos for saying a band’s name correctly but here we are. Also, “Liliac” is Romanian for bat. Parents are from Romania. I noticed the video is kinda ghosted in on the screen. If I’m not mistaken that’s for preventing copyright issues. Just an FYI, Liliac is fully independent and you have nothing to worry about on copyright. They encourage reactors to watch as an additional source to grow an audience. This was a few years ago. Their current ages are Sam, lead guitar is 22, Aby, drums is 21, Melodia, lead vocals, and bass in this song, Ethan, rythm guitar here but now plays bass is 15 and Justin on keyboard will be 14 Wednesday. They are all siblings.

Hi Tom Wareham, this wasn't their breakout performance although it was nothing short of fantastic, and all their songs are wheater it's an original or a cover. But, what really got people to notice them was when they appeared on CBS a show called "America's Greatest Talent" where they did a cover of the late great "Ronnie James Dio' and KILLED IT, brother. As they do all their tunes but especially Ronnie James Dio!!!! After their 1st appearance on this show, they were offered a contract and they (the producers of the show) wanted them to make two LPs and give them 1% of the earnings. Their father is their manager and he told them to go fly a kite. The funny thing was they were by far the best act on that show and got voted off the 2nd show but look at them now.

Great reaction! You got the ages a bit off. At the time of this video they were 11 to 19 years old. Sam (guitar) was around 19, Abigail (drums) was about 18, Melody on bass and lead vocals was about 16, Ethan (rhythm guitar) was around 12, and Justin (keyboard) was around 11 years old. Funny you mentioned Skillet because i went and saw Liliac at a festival in Montana this summer and Liliac headlined the Friday show and Skillet opemef for them. Liliac- Mars (Live in Cumming GA) is a must though. It's an original. It's a showcase song, shows each members talents. Liliac- The Trooper (Iron Maiden cover) is a must as well if you want to see how good Melody (Vocals/Bass) was at Bass Guitar before she handed it over to Ethan and how good Ethan was at Rhythm/Lead Guitar before he switched to Bass Guitar and Samuel (Lead Guitar/Backup Vocals) of course was always fantastic at Lead Guitar which that cover also shows.

Wow! Loved your reaction. This young family band has two albums out with their original songs and I think two or three albums with nothing but covers. They have a large fan base. They play what they call Vamp Metal. The band's name means Bat in Romanian. Both parents were born in Romania and all kids were born in the USA. Two sisters and three brothers ranging as of today 22 years of age to 14 now. I found out about you because when you reacted to them you were put on all of their social media groups. As good as the covers are, I actually prefer the originals. “Mars” live, concert footage “Dear Farther”, latest original video “Sail Away”, ballad “Dancing in the Dark” & “Nothing” Are all good places to start. And they have only gotten better since this video.

As always, I enjoyed your reactions. Unfortunately, after I requested this same video to you, by Liliac, back in June by donation, it never came to fruition on your part. So I moved on. I even checked back with you on your Instagram account to see if somehow it got over looked, but got no response. It happens. Such is life. I 1st caught wind of your reactions through your Courtney Hadwin reactions to her. And was excited to see how impressed you were with her. So I thought pointing you in the direction of Liliac would be a good idea, because of your interest rock and in great guitar players. I figured you'd be impressed with them. When that reaction never happened is when I lost interest. But I'm glad you finally got to see Liliac perform. And "Enter Sandman" although an older video of theirs, I still think it's a great one to see for the 1st time. Anything these kids do is top notch.
