I can't even believe this exists! I thought only VS was the only other mode, although that might be the case on the PS2 version. A new song with a new opponent and setting, as well as U-1 and Kirah working together feels unreal, as if I've seen something secret hidden away, possibly behind a full completion requirement.

There's always a black screen whenever I try to do Duet Mode or Versus Mode.

I never experienced any problems whenever I played multiplayer modes. As long as networking is enabled in PPSSPP and firewall isn't blocking the connection(a pop-up appears the first time you connect with PPSSPP), it should work just fine.
