Never heard of juju before. Is the gitlab service installed within the actual k8 cluster or where does it run? Edit: Every 'unit' seems to have its own public IP, so I assume that they are hosted within the amazon cloud.

Yup, go to 6:39 she was showing the list of instances hosted across different AWS regions in the USA

Yup It's a "basic" one, you forgot to mention we would need a deep pocket for those instances in AWS
