Here is the quiet and introspective “Ave Maria” by Italian composer, Giulio Caccini. There is some question as to the origin of the piece. It seems it was “discovered” by Russian, Vladimir Vavilov in 1970 and original sheet music showed it to be composed by “Anonymous.” Whether he composed it and did not want credit or discovered and arranged the piece which was subsequently attributed to Caccini is unclear. What is clear is that the very simple piece is quite beautiful.
