Giulio Regondi: Etudes for guitar n° 1-2-3

This is the best recording of these very difficult studies, by some margin. I believe Mr Holmquist gave up the guitar some year ago to become a real-estate agent. A loss to the world of classical guitar for sure. I have this CD, wonderful recording.

Can anyone tell me what guitar was used in this recording? It sounds fabulous... those trebles!!

According to the back cover of the Naxos CD, the guitar used by John Holmquist was a 1995 G. Vasquez Rubio. The guitar does indeed sound exquisite!
