Wonderful. I have exactly the same mandolin from 1896, restored and sounds bright. Nice work

Beautiful work on a lovely instrument. Congratulations! I have an 1898 Vinaccia now undergoing repairs. How did you achieve the reduction in string height? Did you reset the neck?

Here I had to strip everything off so it gave me a chance to re-set the neck but usually I manage to create better action by replacing fretboard with a slightly thicker one like I did on Il Globo Mandolin

I have a very similar mandolin, but I'm having a difficult time finding a bridge for it. Yours is obviously after market and I'm wondering where you found it. Thank you!

Hi, I make new bridges myself, it's not possible to buy one that would fit perfectly.
