Cool I do the same thing, got a phone holder but your phones in your pocket haha. I dont do fb as you know but I have told people about it. I dont have a KLR but I like the concept of yall being able to communicate yalls rides, pros and cons of the KLR and etc. I did sneak on my wifes fb page and sign her up, she asked me if I did and I said nope Dale must have just made you a member.

@@Heartlanddualsport Question. My 09 klr650 is in storage where I can only get a few minutes to start it up occasionally. I also have panniers attached so it's not quick to remove them to get at my now almost dead battery to charge it. Happen to know what wires under the left hand side of the bike under the cover where the starter relay is that I can attach a charger?

I did my first group ride two weeks ago and am still paying for trying to keep up with riders more experienced than me. I got in some soft sand and long story short laid the bike down and my left knee and right shoulder took the brundt of the impact. I still rode for another six hours afterwards but have been suffering ever since.

Oh man, I am so sorry to hear that. I will also apologize for my late reply, I have bee on a two week camping trip in a primitive area and internet was spotty at best and I didn't get this until today, so sorry about the week long in my reply. I am sure you notice, I travel solo a lot and if I come to an area, I dont want to ride or feel it will be too punishing for me, I turn around and pick another route. I know what it is like to be riding with buddies and get in a jam. Last year, I had to step off my dirt bike and torn something loose in my left leg ankle area. I could not walk on it for almost 2 weeks and barley got it healed enough in time for my yearly back to Oklahoma primitive bow hunt, the one I just got back from yesterday, there is a small group of friends and family and it is a tradition at this point. Again, I am sorry to hear you got hung up and injured yourself. I will add you to my prayers and I hope you heal up soon my friend.
