I was reading my Bible plan today and it was Psalm 83 and it reminded me of what Israel faces today as it has faced threats in the past. I see a set up for a God Sized Miracle again on their behalf. How can such a small country fight such big enemies except by God intervening in a miraculous way. "Then the world will know who they are truly up against - God's elect and chosen ones"

Only one problem with your theory. The modern day state is not the Biblical nation in any sense. They are not a continuation of the nation that God did away with in judgment in 70 AD. That ended the old covenant & nation and these people today are not in covenant with God at all, therefore God will not be intervening on their behalf. Lastly, God's elect & chosen ones are Christians (Ephesians 1:4-5; 1 Peter 2:9; 2 Thessalonians 2:13; Romans 8:29-30; Galatians 3:6-9 & 26-29).
