I love this so much. Further revelation was received by our church in 1833 about this. In Doctrine and Covenants 89:16-17, it states: 16 All grain is good for the food of man; as also the fruit of the vine; that which yieldeth fruit, whether in the ground or above the ground- 17 Nevertheless, wheat for man, and corn for the ox, and oats for the horse, and rye for the fowls and for swine, and for all beasts of the field, and barley for all useful animals, and for mild drinks, as also other grain. When my kids were young, I used to make bread every Saturday from freshly ground wheat. Things have gotten so busy lately I have had to get store bought bread. It just isn't the same.

I have been blessed by your great information. I started milling in February and I’m not going back to fake bread. I HAVE TWO QUESTIONS: 1. If the nutrition dissipates so fast in freshly milled flour, will it dissipate if you prepare the dough but save back a loaf to freeze and then bake later? 2. If you mill extra, can it be frozen to lengthen the time it keeps it’s nutritional value? I will be watching for your upcoming videos. Thank you for your teaching and encouragement.

I’ve been milling my own grain for a while now, but unfortunately it has not completely replaced our bread. How do you store the bread to keep it fresh? How do you slice it so it works for sandwiches and toast?
@Emily-fgtd489 Жыл бұрын
I freeze my bread in slices after day 3 or 4 to prevent it going moldy. Apparently adding vitamin C powder can preserve it longer but I haven’t tried it. My husband wanted something like store bought bread for sandwiches. We both think adding a little lecithin (softness) and gluten (for chewiness) made it a bit better for his sandwiches. You can get a wooden slicer that helps with even slices. Good luck!

I discovered it after many many failed attempts at whole grain sourdough. It is perfect for beginners or experianced sourdough bakers.

Trying to see where you get the fact that whole wheat bread is the highest source of vitamin e? One serving of whole wheat bread has .83mg of vitamin e. If you look at the top 20 sources of vit e, wheat germ oil, which would be a concentrated source contains 20mg, sun flower seeds contain 10mg, and a number of other items have a lot more than the bread. You would need to eat an entire 2 pound loaf to get 4mg from the bread. I would agree that grinding your own wheat and making your own bread is much more healthy than any commercially available product, but I believe it is due to the extra nutrients (vitamins, minerals, fiber) that it provides to your gut microbiome rather than due to the vitamin e. Your microbiome uses those nutrients to create additional substances your body needs as well as increase the amount of B vitamins the bread provides.

Good Morning! I have a question for any one who has time to answer! I been milling for a few years and I just noticed sonething , On the last bag of wheat berries, I noticed that I had a lot of broken berries, say 5 out of 1/2 cup. once the grain is broked, it would go bad. Right? So should you take out the broked berries before you mill that batch? What do you do? thanks for your time!

So glad you believe Melchizedek is The same as Jesus. This is basically my litmus test for anyone who understands the priesthood of God knowing that Melchizedek must be the king of the Salem above and not the Salem on earth as the new covenant is of the heavenly Jerusalem and is freed woman while the Jerusalem and Sinai on earth is of the bind woman (Galatians 4).
@patricialynveal4017 Жыл бұрын
Manor of Malkezidek is not being malchezidik.. i.e. annointed (messiah/christ) will be a priest king As Mal. was. So many do not get the need to recognize the making Holy (sanctification of) The true God's name, (matt. 6:9&10- start lord's prayer) that the only begotten is a prince of peace (Isa. 6.9 ish) and all princes are to be king.. that the Chirst has finally cleansed the kingdom (Rev.12:9- why the planet has lost his mind cause the dragon has little time left as God views time) and the annointed is waiting to extend it to the earth as his father puts the enemies as a stool before his feet.. Almighty God's purpose for a loving world will soon come to pass and the annointed's (christ's) kingship is a limited time period.. he will hand it back to his father.. if avid Bible reader you will see it in the harmony from the word Gen. To Rev. The use of bread is the main food in all cultures. Biblically - grains/ bread, milk, honey food from the beginning. And as she said an important part of life and living. Be it you from old world with those whole grains ( she mentioned some) or new word and those grains (maize) but instead of going on her idea of doctrine work on just the point of this - BREAD, WHOLE GRAINS, and why it is part of God's WORD- she is applying what she has learned in her answer to John 17:3 as she sees it as she continually learns taking in that word Daily and applying what she learns into her life... her view is as she said her being a Bible based Christian, and actually following The principles and commandments set Down in that word for the last 12 years as she has learned them. Commend her diligence to be loyal loving of her god, not condemn/like her application as some litmus but review scripture yourself as to if what she says is true Sigh If going to do all things toward God, eating well very big part of it, and she busts it out well.

I've enjoyed your channel for quite a while. I know this video is at least a year old. But, I'd like to tell you, like I have said to those who teach non-denominational Bible Study groups, teaching anything, while using God's word as a reference, is indeed a good foundation, but calling out any specific denomination while making a point is not grace. I don't know your denominational affiliation, and it doesn't matter to be what it is. Those who are truly Christ followers are The Biblical Church. In jest or in seriousness, our witness should be to reach those are not Christ Followers, not to criticize a denomination, of any type. I won't stop watching you videos, but I graciously ask you to consider reaching all people of all nations without regards to their affiliations to any church. I personally have worshipped and held membership only in Baptist Churches since I accepted Christ as God's son and became a Christian by faith, at 15yrs of age. At 18 years of age, I discovered natural foods, grain milling and holistic foods mentioned in the Bible. The ladies in our congregation were precious in their out reach to teach the younger women about bread, grains, preservatives, and more. I'm not a Baptist. I am a child of God, a believer and follower of Jesus Christ. Yet, I attend Baptist churches by choice. However, l am a student of God's word. You didn't offend me in your statement concerning 'Baptist'. I laughed out loud. But, the spirit within me was stirred. These types of statements may well offend some who do not know Christ as Savior and may cause them to judge all faiths. Food choices do not save us, nor do our choices of foods cause us to be closer to what pleases God. They do indeed help us to be healthier. The fall of man started in the Garden of Eden. The righteousness of God is not dependent on our actions. As we study and apply God's word, our character is changed to exemplify God's character of righteousness. None are righteous, no, not one. Yet, through Him, our lives are changed.
