it looks like a work horse and it comes with a sheath thats a plus nice looking budget hatchet it reminds me of those 14 inch est wing camp hatchets lows once carried looks like a solid tool i have been subbed for a long time lurked your videos for a long time you have good outdoors content my friend i can share to my KZbin channel on a community post would that be good for the giveaway i don't have a Facebook to do that i will share it on my community post on KZbin if that will suffice

Doug, I also like your ingenuity to drive it into the stump, then split. Many of injury have come from chopping kindling while holding it. Someone had to leave alone from such an injury, so no joke.

I've done that over the years. Some times it doesn't work because the whole stump is soft. There needs to be some structure left to part of the stump. You are right about injury and splitting firewood. It's dangerous enough at home, so the situation would be a lot worse if alone in the woods

Doug, I think for my emergency kit, I need some Kevlar gloves that are cut resistant. In a survival situation, a bad injury could equal death so not to be taken lightly. Thanks
