2023-24 Panini Prizm Basketball Hobby Box Review Basketball Cards Unboxing! This is the biggest set of the year, and our first-time ripping the hobby boxes on the channel (we did retail blasters & monopoly blasters recently).
We got ours on presale a few weeks ago at $970, but they’re currently going for $900 on eBay and $999 at Steel City Collectibles. FOTL went for $2k in the dutch auction!

You can’t pull autos of Wemby, Scoot, and other top rookies, but you can pull some decent autos like Amen Thompson and Ausar Thompson.

I picked up 10 blaster retail boxes early from eBay and paid $500 for. I pulled a cracked ice and silver Wemby. I am biased but I feel like retail prizm is wayyyy better value than the hobby.

You are 100% right. You can get them from target / walmart for $30, so for the price of one Hobby box you can get roughly 30 blasters. WAY more value there.

So that's a hard question to answer in a short format. I'll do the best I can, but the more you watch my videos the more you will learn for sure (but also watch other content creators too as they have their own perspective). 1. BUY SINGLES - that is the best way to get value for your money. 2. If you are on a budget, buy retail first, to scratch the itch of ripping product (it's WAY more affordable) 3. Buy hobby boxes that are in the $100-$300 range, you'll get much better value for money in this range. 4. Buy LEAF products, you'll get better re-sale value for your money (but they are not all created equal). 5. DON'T buy new releases, all product starts high (because of the hype) and ends up being way cheaper in 4-6 weeks. 6. Create a budget & have fun, just rip enough where you don't break the bank (and stress yourself out) but still scratch that itch! For basketball, I'm not sure where the value is yet, as we haven't seen a lot of products. Choice was decent, and the price came down, so I think it's not a bad price for your value (I think it's closer to $230 now). You may want to consider 2023-24 Hoops as it's going for around $130-$150 now. I think Monopoly was a very good rip for money, so I'd recommend that over a hobby box if you are on a budget. Hope this helps. Ask away anytime.

I've never seen worst quality control, the fact cases are full of boxes missing Auto's in crazyyy @ that price point. I'd rather spend the $800-900 on good singles
