Very interesting interview......I've bought Merryl's 2 volume instructional book on cheese making and I can truly say that it is well worth the money spent. Very detailed and with plentiful photos that will guide you through the whole process. Plus get in touch with her (zoom or facetime) as she will personally go over the books with you and give you pointers.

Hello Jorden, I agree! I have had several Zoom sessions with Merryl and she gave me so much of her time. That is how we met (virtually) before we met in person for this video!

I love your videos MaryAnne. I have followed some of your recipes faithfully and I'm amazed I can actually do this. I want to say thank you for telling us about this new book by your lovely guest. I'm so excited! I can't wait to receive mine and have my own reference in print that is easy to read and follow.

Hello M I, I am so glad to hear that you've tried some cheesemaking recipes after watching my videos. That's exciting. How many cheeses do you have maturing now?
@MI-kq5eq2 жыл бұрын
@@maryannefarah4367 Ohh, I have not tried maturing cheeses yet, though I'm excited to try. So far, Ive made the nabulsi cheese, mozzarella, and cream cheeses from your recipes. I would like to try cheddar and feta next

Great interview! Can attest there are tons of detailed instructions in these books, you should be able to learn how to make any cheese from them

Congratulations. Your videos are really well done. I watched about 6 of them last night. They are professional-looking, accessible and enjoyable to watch. I'm inspired to get into cheese-making after watching them. Do you have a website as well? I don't see a link to one anywhere.

Hello John, Thanks for your compliment. Makes me happy. No, I do not have a web site. I would love one though, I just can't seem to find the time.

I'd love to hear more about HOW the original recipes (that she was following in the beginning) were bad/incorrect. Did she tell you?
@GiveCheeseaChance7 ай бұрын
She said that the recipes were not tried and tested, but people kept copying the recipes as their own without truly understanding how cheesemaking works. But you can reach out to her and ask her. She is very friendly. She has a web site with contact info.

Can you inform where we can buy the book

Hi! There is a link to her web site in the video’s description, but you can also easily get there by googling “Merryl Winstein successful Cheesemaking book”

Cheese sold in the market in France has its mould on it. However we need to stop romanticising France, they too sell plastic wrapped fungus free cheese. 🙂
