@@BassRukarioGuerrero From my perspective and from what I know of the game, Monika and the three other girls were save from a religious camp by I can only suspect as being Dan Salvato. However, Monika is different than the other, probably due to the third eye, and cannot see the world as it looks, pinky and colorful but only see green lines of code and base 64 in front of her. God I would have probably have done way worse than her. I would probably have tried to end my own life if I was in this situation.

I feel like this song captures all the pain Monika went through, most ddlc fans I meet really hate Monika but she suffered a lot too. She found out she was in a game, all her friends were just code and her life was a lie. She finally finds a glimmer of hope in the player, then they start to fall in love with the other characters so she takes desperate measures of making the others as dislikable as possible until eventually deleting them all. Killing her friends must have caused her just as much pain as it caused us, if not more. She finally has a chance with the player and then they delete her. She brings back the other girls and it ends up that Sayori became "self-aware" so she deletes them again and writes one last poem. I think Monika suffered more than any of the others honestly :(

Which simply makes her character all the more fascinating by showing us that she both bears absolute power yet at the same time being subject to an inescapable cage of her own "reality" . I was supposed to listen to this when it came out initially, but I just never got around to it. I finally remembered to yesterday and I have to say, this is a new favourite. It's so unlike any other Nate song I've heard.
