It's finally hereeeee! After months and months of waiting for this movie I got to watch it at last and it was soooo worth the wait. As a manga reader it was everything I wanted it to be! The emotions I felt while watching it! The way it broke me then put me back together again. The way it made me smile like crazy. I love Given. Hope you enjoy!

I think the last song is Ugetsu's message to Akihiko. I didn't think much about it at first. but the lyrics said, "I'm going to find something more important than you, because you're the most important person to me." And besides these lyrics, there are a lot of lyrics that express Ugetsu's feelings. That's make me more heartbroken. 😭 I just want Ugetsu to meet someone nice and have a heart-warming love...💖💖

I agree! The lyrics resonate so much for how Ugestsu was feeling and what he probably wanted to but couldn't say to Akihiko. It hurts :( me too I really hope Ugestsu gets a happy ending

So happy you did :) trust me, I almost cried several times, even teared, but I think the only reason I didn't was because I already knew what was going to happen and had cried plenty about it before aha. Today (the day after this reaction) I actually went back to watch some scenes and suddenly broke down crying

But I didn't know anything about Ugetsu since I skipped his parts and now I fell in love with him... ALSO REWATCHED A FEW SCENES AND CRIED A LOT.

ugetsu and aki are very toxic to each other and both of them make each other miserable, the problem is they can't end it as they should. I won't say they love each other anymore, this thing they have is not loving! it more of a bad habit or obsession at this point. you don't hurt the person you love so much as Ugetsu did, they should have ended this years ago but sometimes you need a little push to really end a toxic relationship. and I'm glad they end it in the end

I see what you're saying but I still do think they at least had some feelings of love for each other and that's what was making it harder on them too. I mean Ugetsu's reaction at the end is what makes me think so too. But they both knew that it wasn't good for either of them and they had to end it no matter how hard. I'm glad they ended it too and in such a good way with the help of Mafuyu's song

Yeas they care about each other, sure but the love was already over has soon Ugetsu said they just suffocat each other that was the point the love wasn't there anymore. Yeas he care about him, yeas he is usued to him around, but it's not love that build anymore. It's just a habit. You can love and care about friends too, but it won't be romantic love. Ugetsu was just selfish and Aki could not let go, so they were stack.
