Never was a Givenchy person but I just love their blush and I think I will love their velvet lipstick in Rose Irresistible.

Thank you so much! The Sheer Velvets are my favourite lipsticks, I have 27 and 36 and now I want them all! 😅😅😅😅 The only thing I don't like is the velvet case, the pink gets stains so quickly... I'm going to purchase some of the leather cases with the refills. I just want to say Thank You for your in depth reviews. I love the Dior Velvet colors but they are so drying on my lips. I will def purchase some of the Givenchy velvets. I just can’t stand when they dry down, like a liquid lipstick. I have sworn those off forever! I wasted a lot of money on those!

Hi Lexi! Great swatches! I'm very glad to hear that you prefer Givenchy velvets better than Lisa Eldrige ones. Givenchy has always been my top brands for lip products. I find that Lisa Eldrige is too hyped and yet the quality is not living up to the hype even though I do think that she is one of the best makeup artists out there. I still prefer the usual luxury brands that have been in the market for so long such as Givenchy, Dior, YSL, Chanel and etc. They always excite me and deliver great luxury products, especially lip products😊

@@LexiJong I agree, I don't live in the US but when I visit, I do not see it as much in the US, whereas here in the UAE we always get the new updated quite quickly. Europe also doesn't have a lot of Givenchy when I visit which is weird.

Thank you for the ‘Swatch Party’. I agree 100% with you on these beautiful lipsticks. I find them less drying than LE Velvets. I adore Lisa Eldridge; but, if I wear her lipsticks too many days straight my lips are really, really dry. In Givenchy Sheer Velvets, I have 27. I have 14, 37 in Deep Velvets. I think I ordered one more during Sephora; but, i can’t remember which one. I will say I am not a fan of the refills…I can’t see the no. on the side. Now, you have me wanting more💄💄💄

Yes, it is all about the undertones in your skin. I am neutral but for people with warmer undertones, typically the warmer shades look best and vice versa.
