Just to note: if anyone has a crested gecko and needs to remove stuck shed, *please* be careful with the temperature of the water you're soaking them in. Crested geckos can overheat and suffer heat stroke very easily, so it's important to use truly lukewarm water.

I love this video but I have a few things to add. I'd recommend using luke warm water, like the temp you'd use to bathe a human baby (I use my inner wrist to test the temp). I add shed ease to the water to add extra hydration. Personally I sing to my reptiles to help keep them calm. Bath time is bonding time :)

I have a new Leopard Gecko (pre-owned, sadly her previous owner passed away) she is a beautiful little girl. I was SO worried as today was the 2nd shed since bringing her home. She had a lot of stuck shed on her toes and while trying very carefully to help her get it off a nail came off too and she bled a little. This is also the first time I have held her. Nail loss has never happened with my other Leo. After making sure all shed was removed She happily sat in the crook of my elbow and chilled. I rushed to check out your videos. So glad to hear your reassuring tones explaining that nails CAN come off and do grow back. Phew, panic over.
