Two months ago I gave away all the plant friends I adopted in the past 7 years, and I shot this video before gifting them away🌿🦋 I love plants, taking care of them and being surrounded with them, and gifting them away was such a powerful teacher of letting go and a powerful experience of gifting joy to others by offering something so close to my heart. My two friends adopted all our inner plant friends and it was SO wonderful seeing them so happy! And all our outdoor plant friends we left for the new tenants in our Brooklyn apartment. Farewell dear friends! We will start growing our new inner jungle one plant friend at the time 🤍

Oh I didn't realise how much you have done, as much as I love watching your videos, I don't have time to always keep up with social media because I devote my time to nature connection..

Beautiful video, message and spirit...I could feel the love and care that was created with all your plant friends (btw I LOVE that you address them as such)! If in the future you or others reading this are faced with a similar situation, maybe taking cuttings to propagate would be an idea to still have the plants you love go with you, but with less bulk and still be able to gift others with some new plants? 🌵🌿🌾🌱✨🥰 😘

One thing is for sure--these plants grow with you. Others will always think of you when looking at the life you gifted them💕 i have a huge attachment to my plants but I also understand that sometimes you must shed old weight to make room for new growth. Just like your gorgeous plants!😉 you will continue to grow without them but soon your collection will grow just as much as you have! I love your outlook on life and feel free to "ramble" about any and all things life and art! Sending much love your way💚🍄

I’m sure you found loving homes for your friends. I had a tear in my eye because I share the same love you have for plants. When I saw the two pots of snake plants next to each other they looked like they were hugging 😊. Then I thought will they miss each other 💕. You inspire me, one day I will have to do what you did too, I hope I’m as strong as you are. ♥️

This has to be one of the most beautiful and saddest videos I have ever watched. I could almost grasp the love and care you feel for your plants, this wonderful deep connection you share with them. When you cried, I cried with you. I could have listened to you talk about your plants and their stories for hours! At first I thought how maybe you could have kept the little one in the happy pot, but then I realised what a big teaching of letting go this must have been for you. Letting of something you love so dearly and making room for something new. Thank you for sharing ♡

It is quiet a courageous thing to do Caro. Plants that have been with you for so long, also a powerful message on letting go. Wishing you lots of love and joy in your new space ❤️✨🤗

Thank you for sharing. It’s so special to be giving them away especially as you are so connected to the plants. Such genuine zeal for and love of plants is quiet a wonder to see. I can only imagine the wrench in the giving away. How amazing though, the heart that can give without the worry of what may be returned. You have inspired me today to try to reach for more genuine responses in my own heart. Have a truly blessed day Caro! 💐

I have a snake plant and an aloe (along with a ton of others) that I have had with me for 27 years. They have moved countless times and the aloe has birthed many, many babies that I've shared with friends. I completely understand your sadness, because I would be heartbroken to see them go. When you get settled, I bet that a LOT of people would be happy to send you cuttings, share plants, etc. Plant people get each other! xoxoxo

I love this video Caro, you really inspire me to grow an indoor garden. Thank you so much. When you are settled and you start to grow your next garden I would love to see the process and any hints and tips you have along the way. (I seem to be terrible at keeping plants healthy, I don't really know what I'm doing so I end up killing them which is so sad!😭) I have one spider plant which I've had for years and he seems to be a hardy plant who manages to keep surviving in my care🤣🌱 Sending you lots of love ❤️ (also on a side note, I can't wait for your Patreon!🤩)xxx

Hi Caro! I love your videos and your art work! Thank you for sharing so much! I'm curious if you ever worry about your cats with all the plants? I know a lot of these are toxic to cats if ingested. Do you have any tips? I'd love to branch out (haha) with my plant collection but I'm nervous about my kitty.

Caro what do you use to attach your hanging plants to the wall/ceiling? Is it some kind of hook you drill into the wall? I love the look of hanging plants but never know how to attach them to the wall if that makes sense. I'm sorry you're having to say goodbye to your plants, it must be very difficult. Edit: Also what is that lovely big outdoor plant you show at the end? She's beautiful.
