Because so many people are asking. I don’t like barrage. It puts almost every ability on cool-down and is easy af to bait and then bite between cool-downs. It removes any combo potential too, which makes it boring af. Hence why I don’t use it

Mira’s main flaws come from its cooldowns, damage, and super bizarre tail anatomy (in game). Its bulk is actually pretty good, it’s just that in a trade, it does pathetically low damage with its reg tail attack. Oftentimes, a Mira will have to get closer than the other stegos, because of how stubby its tail is. Cooldowns make fighting a good 2 slot a nightmare because they will exploit you to the fullest extent. Mira’s main saving grace is its paralysis, which essentially gives it the speed advantage against 90% of its foes. Now I would say tail barrage helps, but uh, I saw the pinned comment lmao

I gave up on my mira :( Such shame it's the way it is atm, it needs buffs and a nerf to paralysis. I think it's likely to be a test subject for devs, and I mean the paralysis and toxic barbs. So likely it'll get tweaked in one or another way. And thanks for the amazing content, I love your vids and Evil Tobey and PVPNath. Best PoTtubers ❤

I hated Mira and gave up on mine, which is weird as one of the dinos I main is a steg. However you giving it a second chance has convinced me to try again with my own. Maybe I just need more time to learn it, idk. But when you get rushed by bigger things and they just tank you, like an allo or dasp, it's a bit frustrating. It just feels so weird to me to use.

I developed a non mud build strat that seems to work (at least for me) Stamina build is critical for it to work cause it’s all about endurance The primary changes to the norm is running both tail barrage and charged tail and toxic hide. Does pretty well against apex’s some mid tiers and keeps the smaller creatures from harassing you. Big difference is that lash is like never really useful unless it’s for finishing or getting someone off of you.

That cera fight is why I prefer toxin over mud. You didn't have time to set up the mud, but the toxin would have executed them at 20% anyway with how much damage they had taken/potential toxin. I find the mud hard to set-up when you really need it. I hope it gets a rework or something soon.

I’m not midget but I used to use that before switching to charged and regular since barrage uses the same cooldown as lash which messes with the combos I like to use

Charged swing is trash. You should use barrage + normal swing to be decent on mira. Ofc its gonna be bad against mids, its like charging your tail on a stego against a cera. Abd top1 eotrike counter is bars, second is rex.

@@TriceratopsHorridus charged swing does 80 damage, it’s good for hit and runs or to force people to keep away for 5s. Barrage can do more damage but it cool-downs other abilities for ridiculously long. Against someone who doesn’t know any better it might be good, but any player who knows miras cooldowns will cheese you to death if you run that Also bars yeah, but rex does not counter eo lol

@@TriceratopsHorridus it makes the fight more 50/50, but it doesn’t counter eo. Eo can also just run away with charge, so it’s less of a counter and more of an area denier. Bars, stego and mira can actually chase an eo and reliably kill it

Idk eo vs bars i won as eo every time and rex vs eo i won as rex every time. Even when i was an eo vs a rex i won as eo but was 1 shot away from death even after starting with sharpen and charge

Too bad Mira looks horrendous. Very bad desing, with weird bodily proportions. The sound design is the worst though, completely artificial; it is still not as bad as the sound designs of Kai and Eurhino, those are atrocious.

@@albedo4264 completely disagree there, on the model. It and kentro are by far the best models in path. Yes its proportions look very odd, but that’s just what miragaia looked like. It’s accurate. And its textures are just amazing Sound design fair enough though. I don’t mind it personally, but it is a quite out there
