Hi how is it holding up I've see reviews where people are saying it uses a lot of ram.

I've only had to reboot it once because my speeds seemed slow to me. Otherwise it's been great.

do they have to be plugged in viat ethernet cable at all times together?

@@btoso32 nope, you don’t even need to connect them together for the initial setup, they just need to be close to each other. Once the mesh is set up you can move the point anywhere you need it.
