BarakAllah feek. Question: If some one wants his self to be hidden because he wants to please allah in secret as he transgressed once in secret and because of this he withdraws a bit from people, yaani if he use to be among them, talk to them in islamic gatherings, duroos, masjid and now he is wanting to keep it till just giving greetings and leaving because of fear of allah and in order to please him, he wants his good deeds(like may be now he has started memorizing the quran) to be not mentioned so he keeps himself away from the eyes of people so that people dont remember him as much as before due to his speaking less with them... So can we do this?
@Arbmxar10 ай бұрын
I m not knowledgeable as a suggestion : I would say don't miss islamic lectures, duroos of masjid befriend with righteous people but don't expose your sins i think interaction is necessary in today's time of fitnah, increase your good deeds in private, qiyam ul lyl (tahajjud) ask Allah's forgiveness salah ud duha, Qur'an, zikr etc...

@@Arbmxar Yes the last part of your advice to increase in tahajud, salah ad duha...is beneficial InShaaAllah. JazakAllahu khairan The former part where you said to attend duroos...i meant in my comment that one attends the duroos and ilmi gatherings but get up from there early,...and not let many known people know that this person is there...?

Bismillahi Ar-Rahmaan Ar-Raheem. As salaamu alaykum wa rahmatuAllahi wa barakatuhu I am the admin to this channel but it does not mean I have knowledge. Please accept what is of benefits to you from these 4 advices I acquired from the scholars regarding this matter: 1. There is nothing harder to correct than your intention. There is a difference between (1) abandoning doing good deeds with others, and (2) doing them but hiding them in accordance with ones ability from the people. A sincere intention doesn't stop a person from doing good with the people. Only the whispering of shaytaan would bring this about. But a sincere intention does make a person feel fearful of showing off, so they increase in private deeds and constantly renew their intentions. They do not resort to abandoning the good deed altogether. Rather, some said stopping a good deed out of fear of the people is a form of showing off, since they left it for other than Allah! [Sharh arba'een an Nawawi, hadith 1]. The key is to ignore the people, and latch your heart onto Allah's pleasure, the presence of angels in gatherings of knowledge etc. And seek refuge from the plots of shaytaan. 2. Islam comes with sooo many different types of worship, and the best of us are those who gather between these different types. One category of worship are those done in secret. Another category are those that are done in public. Make no mistake - Allah praises those who do good deeds publicly in the Quran, just as He praises those who do them privately: 'Those who spend their wealth by night and by day, secretly and publicly - they will have their reward with their Lord. And no fear will there be concerning them, nor will they grieve.' 2:274 Is it not better to have both forms of worship, rather than just one? 3. If we act upon the above point, the difficulty may arise: how can I maintain sincerity when doing public and pirvate deeds? I don't remember which scholar I heard this from, but I was advised to 'make the deeds you do privately in seclusion with your Lord, more than those you do publicly. Every time you increase in a public deed, make sure you increase in a private one that none but Allah know.' I ask Allah to make us from those who implement this weighty advice. It ensures that we don't fall into either of the two extremes: (1) distancing from the people such that we obtain no benefit from them and they get no benefit from us, or (2) only doing good deeds publicly as the munafiqeen do. 4. Lastly, if Allah has blessed you with the opportunity to seeking knowledge in scholarly gatherings and do good publicly as well as privately, then race towards it. And spread as much khayr as you can amidst the people, whilst always renewing your intentions. As the prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said, “The believer who mixes with people and is patient with their harm has a greater reward than the believer who does not mix with people, nor is patient with their harm.” ibn Majah. May Allah have mercy upon our scholars and forgive me for what I do not know.

@@muslimah_Al_hindy may Allah accept all your adiyyah my dear sis. I don't know how to pin it as it is a reply, not a comment... As for removing the basmallah and salaam then I cannot do that for they are from the most weightiest parts of the message and are what will bring it barakah: the prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم was asked about the best things in islam and he mentioned: "feeding the people and spreading the salaam". He صلى الله عليه وسلم also said about the basmalah, “Every matter of importance that is not begun with the praise of Allah will be left deficient.” Ibn Majah. Instead, I have put them in transliteration not Arabic. May Allah forgive me for what I do not know.

but, doesnt we as a muslim have to give reminder to each other as told in Surah Al - 'Asr verse 3 and Surah At - Taubah verse 71
@contemplatequran7 ай бұрын
Yes, for reminders benefit the believers. So if we have knowledge about a topic, we are encouraged to remind when appropriate. However, this is not all the time. And if we don't have knowledge, it is forbidden for us to remind. As for if you have knowledge and remind others, then only do this when you don't fear for your heart - for reminding can be dangerous as a person starts to think good of himself, show off, become arrogant and self amazed. So this is a reminder to pay attention to our hearts, and when we remind (if there is a need), make it solely for the sake of Allah.
@winterain70875 ай бұрын
@@contemplatequran its true that we have to protect our heart from ujb, however, I dont think its true that only by giving reminder can give us ujb, even when we giving charity silently, or doing tahajjud by ourselves, we can actually feel ujb, by feeling how amazing the act that we do in our heart. so the solution is not to actually stop giving other reminder, but to continously cleanse our heart by knowing that every ibada that we do is actually a blessing from Allah, not entirely because of ourselves, how can we be proud of our ibada when every breath we take is actually by the permission of Allah,? but that is my own opinion tho, sorry for the late reply, I accidentally turn off the notif for yt.
