Gixxer 250 2021 model owner Pros 1. Performance 2. Handling 3. Mileage 4. Speedometer + brightness 5. Suspension ( high-speed ) 6. Throttle response 7. Headlight ( without vehicles from opposite ) 8. Front break 9. Road grip 10. Stability (below 135kms) Cons 1. Gear shifting ( very hard at low speeds) ( good at high speeds ) 2. Clutch little bit harder side (but manageable) 3. Suspension (at low speeds) 4. Rear break ( without front break, it is nothing ) 5. Headlight ( with opposite lane vehicles , u can't see anything) 6. Seats - Rider seat is good, but not for long rides above 300kms (little bit inclined). Pillion seat is not good (with backrest setup will be ok) 7. Short gear ratio - in all gears , even 6th gear have more torque .. It is good when you overtake , but not good for cruising above 120kms (Best cruising speed 100kms) 8. Starts wobbling above 135kms speed 9. Only genuine parts available , But for Aftermarket accessories ( in india , you don't get anything for gixxer series) , you have to work it with your own interest ,

Last 6 years a avenger 220 street thaan vachruken. Suzuki ku upgrade panalama nu yosichen. Thanks to this genuine review, compared to this Avenger is a gem. Torqy engine. Vibrations zero until 115. 90 to 115 kmph so smooth, planted and makes you feel like a God. Bajaj service problem ye ila. Spares availability la konjam hiccups iruku. But still findable. Avenger ye vachukuren😂😂

Bought the bike in sept 2022, Clocked more than 32000 kms on the Odo, been to kochi, bangalore and most southern districts in TN. First off, the mileage is somewhere between 28kmpl to 33kmpl in city use. I'm quite aggressive with my revving and shifting, so that explains the mileage. On the highways, it delivers 35 kmpl. Wind blast is terrible, sure, but if you tuck down a little, it can touch 154kmph. The headlights are sooo bad in this bike. the low beam is almost useless. Very scary to ride above 60kmph even with the headlights (in places without streetlights) also he mentions that the rear brakes are useless, but they have tuned it in such a way that we are encourages to use the front brakes. rear brake must be used only for trail braking. if the rear brakes were as good as the front, inexperienced riders might panic brake and take a fall. the stock MRF revZ tyres are really good in terms of economy and tread life but INCREDIBLY bad grip. i have slid multiple times even in slow speeds like 20 - 40 kmph and recovered by moving in the high-side direction

Bro.. I bought Gixxer 250 naked last month.. Past 1 month im unable to reach 4k rpm...I thought Showroom locked the rpm due to new bike.. but When I gave service yesterday they mentioned that they didn't locked it and did service. After service they mentioned air filter some paper in it...thats the reason... After I tried... Maximum I can reach 5k to 6k rpm with vibrations.. they said crusing speed 100 to 110..but I feel bike pressurd to reach that speed...and when I saw few KZbin videos they are easily going 7k 8k without much pressure... Does my bike have any issues? Or new bike will behave like this? Even I checked the rpm settings in instrument cluster...it was at maximum range... Anyone please guide or help me

Very honest review from him. Same experience. Feel would be like, somdays riding is bliss. Somedays feel like why we did get this this bike. But the ergonomics, posture, handle bar and city manuering is pakka, but downside, need effort in gear shifting, shifting the low gears feels like hurting the bike, frequent clutching hurts the hand. From the first gear itself you will feel the hardness of the bike. The motor and power delivery is fine. But still you will desperately wait to reach the 5th gear or 5000 rpm. Post 5000 rpm, bike is ultimate. You can still overtake, maneuver, take cuts, bend etc. Summary Build quality, suspension is fine. Although the bike handling and ergonomics support city riding, the engine, gear, clutch combination fails to make it enjoyable say till 5000 rpm or 40 to 45 Kms.
