you notice they NEVER discuss jamal bryant's troubled ministry or robyn's husband's trouble at the college, which are pretty much current events? everybody else's marriage problems are up for debate though. they even threw some lies out there about wendy's and candiace's husbands to create a storyline, but will not address real controversies about gizelle's and robyn's men.

When you consider the gleefully negative way Dixon & Bryant carry themselves on television, and how much they scheme, slander, pathologically lie and bully for the sake of manufactured story arcs exploited from hurting and victimizing others- this duo feels like a strange choice to feature as guests. What makes the Sherri Show stand heads and shoulders above much of the tv programming out there today it is a positive ray of light in sea of toxicity. The Sherri Show exhibits the direct opposite of the very qualities these two women stand for, therefore making it utterly bizarre that anyone who has truly watched their hateful, colorist antics would offer them a platform to justify their atrocious behavior after witnessing their deeds and works through so many years. I understand wanting to have guests that engage audiences, but looking at the "why" behind that engagement is also important., and this reality TV duo feels totally off-brand for this show.

Even if everything you’ve stated is correct, the fact still remains that a considerable portion of Sherri’s audience also tune into RHOP. Only promoting positivity can be perceived as inauthentic & also runs the risk of alienating certain viewers, a risk that Sherri’s show can’t afford right now. Moreover, I don’t think “positivity” is necessarily Sherri’s brand either. It only seems that way because the show is still in its inaugural season. Ultimately Sherri’s show will go in whatever direction producers and the people who sign her checks want it to go in. You make some great points, but every one knows that drama is what most people tune in for, and that black women are the poster children of television drama. 🤔 Sherri’s show is nothing more than a rebranded version of The Wendy Williams Show, and we all know why she was so widely successful 😉
