I won’t lie, there is only ONE question that I’d give ANYTHING for her to answer regarding her Dad. And that’s just her feelings toward the songs about her, Hailie’s Song, Mockingbird, Castle and even My Dad’s Gone Crazy which she did the chorus. That be it.

As much as im growing to appreciate you as yourself, i still cant, not wonder about your feelings and involvement in the music. I think everyone is just really curious about your thoughts looking back on stuff. And about the “you have more to offer than your dad” i feel like we’re all just starting to get to know you yet which is amazing after all this time, but then again, all we knew up until this point is your relationship. I feel like just one dedicated video or an AMA to everything relating to your dad would work wonders. Get it all out the way and everything. But other than that, im loving every second of these podcasts. Finally getting to know you more ❤

Hailie you are totally right. I'm a huge fan of your dad, he changed my life completely, but this is your's and Brit's platform. This is your journey and I also think that you were right to make the statement about the Q&A. Better to lose people that were just interested in that and keep the support of those who actually like what you girls are doing. Keep doing what you doing ✌🏼 peace

I've been listening to Eminem since elementary. I owe him my life even when my psychiatrist gave up and gave me suicide helpline number coz I got diagnosed with MD, schizophrenia, ADHD, self harm, OCD i was taking 5 different pills and i still haven't figured it out but i don't take any medicine now.I owe him my life coz whenever I feel depressed i listen to him I feel like he's with me and has been with me. I wish I could see him in person coz that guy is my idol. I might get a heartattack but it's worth it seeing your idol before you die. His performances make me cry even when I'm watching them on KZbin or any other source. God better knows what will happen if i could see him in person but i know it will be a heartattack. You're not the proudest fan of Eminem because that's my spot. But you've got most of the dedications from the Rap God himself I've been listening to him since cassettes, CD's, pirated his songs collected his discography and iTunes got his every song in m4a format, then on every digital platform in order. You become a stan when you listen to every album in order not just any particular song.

It would probably feel strange to you because you have not got a queen or king. Our queen was a working Royal until the very end, she sworn our new Prime Minister in only a few days before her passing. She was a beautiful human and loved the world over. She became Queen by default after her father died after a very short reign, but her father was not supposed to be king and should have been his brother, but his brother fell in love with an American divorced woman named Mrs. Wallis Simpson and he abdicated so he could be with this lady. Hailie I can understand how you feel about questions regarding your dad. But the reality is you're a fascinating person who is the spawn of one of the most legendary people to ever live. Like millions of people I myself am captivated, enamored, and entranced by your family history because of the impact its had on -THE WORLD-. You are a key role in a movement that is still writing history and not just your families history but the history of an entire culture and all of the people that belong to it. Even if it was subtle, since the legend began it has had an omnipotent impact on the future of mankind playing a role in the development of the human species. Also, the growth and development of you, your dad, he and your relationship, and everything it represents is truly one of a kind and a wonderfully positive narrative. Your dad is special, and you will become a legend of a legend with the impact that you yourself will have on the world. But part of that is embracing and knowing that you're a living embodiment of what a scripture is to a religion. Be honored when someone asks about your dad then use that moment to write your own history with your answer. I'm stoked to see how your history unfolds and what you build on your foundation to transform the future like your dad. Much love stay Shady.

I love the point she makes about questions concerning her father at 23:22 . It cracked me up because it's so true. Y'all may not realize it, but by fixating on her father, you're stripping Hailie of her humanity. She is a real life human being who wasn't just born to offer you insights and tidbits about her dad. I was reluctant to engage these podcasts as an Eminem listener because it weirded me out somewhat. I found myself wondering why I'm watching a celebrity's child. Is it only because their parent is an artist I admire? I will say this, though: This young lady is quite insightful, and I'm just basing my opinion on the things she mentioned in this podcast about technology. It's interesting hearing about society from a younger person's perspective. I don't think I need to hear anything from her about her father, upbringing, or lifestyle outside of what she freely wishes to share. She has her own unique voice and I'm here for it.

Otherwise she didn’t have to name her podcast just a little shady. She could have used another name but she didn’t cuz she’s smart and knows what she’s doing.

She wants to be her own person. All the power to her. But come on now, she wouldnt be anyone if it wasnt for her circumstances. The title of the podcast, not a very good way to be their own person, when all the viewers associate, her and "shady" with her dad. She should embrace the publics want, to know what it was like growing up in a life different to others. How bout they just filter the stories and experiences and share only certain and controlled things.

I get that she wants to build her own brand, but that shouldn’t mean staying away from stuff about her dad like she does. The fact is there are thousands, perhaps millions of girls just like her who could talk about college and hobbies. The one thing that makes her stand out from the crowd is she is Eminem’s daughter! Hello?! That’s huge. She should harness that and use it. It’s what makes her unique. Us plebeians, when we are applying for a job or something, always talk about “use the thing that makes you stand out” or “try to show them you’re different from the rest” when doing an interview or resume. She should do that
@KLee1028
@KLee1028 Жыл бұрын
Ok the whole point is that she doesn’t want that to be the thing that makes her stand out! She wants it to be a good attribute that’s actually related to HER personality!!! She should do whatever she wants to do. You get one life.
@Accuratetranslationservices
@Accuratetranslationservices Жыл бұрын
@@KLee1028 Yeah but it is what makes her stand out whether she wants that or not. There are thousands of women with great personalities but they don't have the benefit of being Eminem's daughter, so they wouldn't stand a chance becoming big podcasters. She should take the leg up that life has given her and lean into it. Talk about childhood memories, breakfast with Eminem etc. etc. That's what people are looking for anyhow or they will probably lose interest. Doesn't have to be all she talks about, but she avoids it and because of that she is avoiding the one thing that sets her apart.

And then continue to follow you because you're a wonderful person outside of Ur das. at the same time , thanks to your dad taking you out of a toxic, dysfunctional situation. You can’t seriously do a segment about “ASK ANYTHING” to fans, knowing the MASSIVE following your dad has, and the big role you played throughout his career…..and you’d ignore essentially most of the questions that *WILL* be about exactly that. Come on Hailie lol. Honestly you should just have him, or speak about him… and fans will stop bothering you about him, for the most part. It’s the enormous elephant in the room.

Okay a lot of y’all gonna hate me. But Hailey should have kept staying in the shadow…the only reason she has this many views are because stans… The more she talks the more I’m not a fan of her. She isn’t anything like her dad, and the other girl is so stuck up and her voice is annoying you can tell she influenced by her. Also a fan said “you look like your dad” and you just bashed her in a episode saying it’s weird. I ain’t even famous but strangers that know my dad say that all the time. Only reason you got views is because of slim…. Slim represents the culture, I’m getting stuck up prep vibes here…. Like I’m better then other attitudes. I’m going to watch “white chicks” now. This is so annoying… This shit has nothing to do with Shady, and that’s how she promoted it to be…

How did you manage to grow up within the light of one of the most well known successful artists of all time......and yet come out the other side such a wonderful, positive, intelligent, and creative soul. You are an amazing person, and so many folks I know think your such an inspiration. Congratulations on being a wonderful soul in the world. My Mother was a long distance telephone operator and worked on those boards in the 1950's. She physically plugged in those calls. She used to bring home tickets of information from each call that she would write on with pencil that would be put into their system. She also worked in the 1970's and 1980's so she got to see and work with more updated electronic ways of compiling information and placing those calls. Thanks for the memories, Ladies!
