The ending of this film always makes me cry. It is sad but on the other hand so full of hope and the music is just perfect.
Beethoven is my favorite composer. This section of his Symphony No. 7 was tailor-made for the end of "Knowing." Whoever did the music for this movie is a genius. Touchingly sad and beautiful.

They built these movie scenes around this symphony. It's very impressive and quite beautiful. Watch the plane crash and the son's reaction adding the music. It's second by second for a long period of time. Must have been an effort.

This music was used at the end of "Zardoz", a 1973 John Boorman film starring Sean Connery. I had heard of Beethoven, but I had not heard this before. It was the most electrifying musical moment I have ever had.

In 2009 I loved this movie so much, it was one of my favorites at that time (and still)... The Symphony n°7 is absolutely perfect for the ending, I watched it over and over again... and now 2020 im here again, crying for everything is happening and alot of memories.

without question one of the most underrated movies of all time, especially with this most heart- rendering musical finally. It's very hard to forget both once you've seen the film a couple of times. I think the viewing public are either biased or non biased with Nicolas Cage, that's the problem with the unfortunate scope of critics' viewpoints. People tend to stick to their favorite actors/actresses. This superb movie is both shocking and amazing at the same time and deserves far more accolade for sure, though it did fairly well at the box office at the time.

Pues si, la película es increible, brutal y demoledora, pero a su vez, cariñosa y emotiva. Una maravilla. Y esa ultima escena, cuando la cancíón sale de verdad en la peli, es en mi opinión de las mejores escenas del cine, de las que te ponen los pelos de punta y se te salta la lágrima, y ese genial tema que lo acompaña a la perfección. This allegretto was also used at the end of the 1974 movie Zardoz, and the last 10 minutes of that movie has stuck with me for 30 years because of this music. Someone mentioned that it was used in The King's Speech too. Too bad that Beethoven's estate doesn't get royalties.
