Chiesa literally wants to run down his contract...by all means he's got every right. Juventus has also a right to not let him into the training grounds and freeze him out. Juve have tried to work with him and were more than patient in letting him recover from his injury. Hence forth Juve tried to negotiate an extension with bonus and goal pckgs attached but to no avail Chiesa declined. I'm honestly very confused with what motta and guintoli are doing right now. We have 4 competitions next year and i believe hans, djalo, chiesa and propably the most surprising for me facundo gonzalez are very valuable rotation components (obviously not fede). Even with todibo, koop and nico squad is still not complete. Still so many players to offload (kostic, tek, mcchicken, artur and milik) and right now not that confident about this mercato. Maybe we have to tank another season. Anyway still one month left in guintoli we trust.

If it’s true he wants to run down his contract, and his refusing Juve’s offer, then he shouldn’t be surprised if Juve play hardball with him. I think we will regret this decision. I've said from the beginning that we had to keep either Soule or Chiesa. We shouldn't lose both as we don't have the fire power up front to withstand these losses. Chiesa is a very dynamic player and him with Yildiz could really have created havoc on the field. I blame the stubbornness of Giuntoli and Chiesa's agent as not getting this extension done. Giuntoli better find some replacements and soon or I fear our goal scoring this year will be very low.
