When Dimash was still a teenager, a knowledgeable vocal coach and singer said that Dimash was a "Diamond in the rough". In my personal opinion Dimash has perfected that diamond... He is brilliant and shines with whatever he does.

Do you know that Dimash is a Composer??? He will have his Doctorate in a few weeks. Dimash will actually have his PhD , he will be a doctor of music. Dimash composes a lot of his own music, also Igor kutroie "works" with Dimash on his songs, they collaborate together, also with other musical geniuses. Dimash has had his masters degree for a few years. Then he started taking English lessons also.... Chinese Manderin so he would be able to speak both fluently. Do you know that Dimash plays over 9 instruments?? Dimash has never had to take lessons, he also can replicate any and every instrument that's man made around the world. People also call Dimash an alien, I know that people don't say this to be mean in any way, But.... Dimash has said in interviews it bothers him. Sometimes, " maybe it's because of our language vocabulary, but sometimes when we say certain things and we absolutely didn't say what ever that certain phrase, saying, word or sentence to be hurtful , but truth be told,people who come from different culture can and have taken offense to what was said because in their language it means something completely different, we don't think before we speak. I am 57 years old, I have been a nun for fourty one of those years. I've lived and served in more than eighty five countries and this is how I had to learn through the years to think before saying something. This isn't meant for you two, I enjoy watching both of you & you really just compliment one another. I don't know what you know about this song, Olympico, Ogoni Pietra Dimash opened for the Minsk Olympics, this song was written for the event, the Olympics that's why it sounds intense, but the song has motivating, praise & uplifting lyrics that are beautiful for any person needing some motivation. This was one of his concerts, it was held in the biggest stadium they had in that country. I saw him in New York 2019, at the Barclay Center arena, it has twenty thousand seats and an open area for whatever the event may be that's coming. Dimashs stage wasn't quite centered , it was set up this way for thousands more people I guesstimated there were about thirty thousand people, it was standing room only on the floor ... in front of the stage., his concert sold out in less than 10 minutes. Seven days after his concert, the world was told about Covid, this was Dimashs first world tour, now as we know it everything came to an abrupt halt, he did put out his album in the early spring of 2020, his album sold out in " 7 seconds " I have never known anyone to sell every album in 7 seconds but it did... Dimashs album also went tripple platinum just weeks later. I don't know if either one of you watch MTV anymore but there have been many of Dimashs videos with American singers videos and others , where people would call in every week until one makes it to #1. Dimash has actually taken lessons on the musical instruments he is proficient at. He took piano lessons for many years, and percussion as well. It's true that he can pick up an instrument and pick out a tune pretty quickly (which is not that rare for a musician with the level of training and constant exposure to music and music education environments that he has), but not true that he he never had to take any lessons. What's amazing is the way he applies his heart and mind to what he learns. That's where he transcends many other musicians.

As others have said, Igor Krutoy is not Dimash's producer. Dimash has his own production team for his concerts (DQ team, his initials), the DimashAli Creative Center directed by his father Kanat (Ali is pronounced like Muhammed Ali. The center was founded when Dimash was a child and is named after Dimash and his father's cofounder's son Ali.), as well as his own team in China. There are other agencies in Kazakhstan that occasionally support his work as well, including Khabar TV, and the Ministry of Culture and Sport. He said in an interview this summer that many people assume he has contractual obligations with Igor Krutoy, but that isn't the case. They are friends who choose to work together. "Igor writes songs and I sing them. It's that simple. There is no obligation." Dimash is frequently invited by Igor to participate in events and productions that Igor is involved with, including the New Wave vocal competition (Dimash served as a jury member this past summer), and Song of the Year (a New Year's concert filmed annually for TV in Russia). He could not participate in Song of the Year this year because he is currently working in China, where there are strict quarantine measures in place upon entry. Dimash also participated in a series of concerts given in 2019 to celebrate Igor Krutoy's 65th birthday.

Igor only composes a few songs a year since 2019 for Dimash, so it's only z fraction of the songs he performs. Dimash arranges the songs with Igor and Erlan Bekchurin and they work closely as a team. Dimash has a masters degree in composing himself so he is not just singing the songs he can change them up when he performs them at his own solo concerts such as this much more rocky version from Dimash'ssolo Arnau Concert in Kazakhstan in 2019. Please Don't think Igor is the boss, Dimash only works with people he likes so it's mutually beneficial that they work together as one entity. They have an excellent working relationship and Dimash goes to Russia a few times a year to perform.

When Dimash was still young he always dreamed of singing Igor Krutoy's songs. His collaboration with him is part of his childhood dreams. Maestro Igor Krutoy is one of the greatest Russian producers, a retired billionaire. When he heard Dimash sing, he reactivated himself from retiremend. Initially, Dimash sang some of his old songs, but then the maestro start to wrote new songs just for Dimash. They do everything on a friendly basis, they have no contract with each other.

Maestro Igor Krutoy did 13 songs for Dimash, not maximum of his songs and he have more than 90 songs. They just put the their 13 songs album on all musical platforms. It seems you caught the meaning without the translated lyrics: you are more than enough! This was written as an inspirational song for the opening of the 2019 European Olympic games. Of course, written for Dimash’s incredible range, I believe it was the first that Igor Krutoy truly wrote with Dimash in mind. They have collaborated often since and have developed a friendship you can see in their interactions. It is rumoured that Igor came out of retirement to work with Dimash.

Igor said that himself on a Russian television show. Not a rumour. He talked about having conversations with his mother where she suggested that he start composing again for some of the young artists and he couldn't find one he was interested in composing for until he met Dimash.

This song was made for the opening of the European Olympic Games in Minsk. The lyrics are an anthem to athletes to go ahead, not be afraid, because they can, they have strength. Dimash symbolically represents the god Apollo encouraging them in competitions. That's why the drums sound like they're from war. Isn't that what athletes do at the olympics??

To listen without prejudice can be a challenge. As part of the quadrasonic development team in the late 60's we assembled sample listeners. Many were stunned by the sound, others swore it was audio manipulated. Recording production was a nightmare that almost scrapped the project because of cost, but the sound was real. Even though it was a commercial failure it led to what we now take for granted in surround sound. We have so much tech today everyone thinks everything is manipulated and I will grant, much is, to a vomit level. When you see this artist stand before you and commit to a flawless performance it is stunning. Cheers Boys.

This is my favorite performance of "Ogni Pietra/Olimpico" at the Arnau Kinetic Voice concert in the capital of Kazakhstan, Nur-Sultan, in 2019, in front of 40000 people. You can watch the whole concert on Dimash's channel. The song was written by Igor Krutoy and performed for the first time by Dimash for the opening ceremony of the Second European Games in Belarus in 2019.

This is a Dimash concert…..LIVE…….The author Igor Krutoy tell that he wrote an “opera” to Dimash for Olimpic Russian Games, and is difficult piece for to sing (for two opera singers, baritone and soprano) and is in Italian......Dimash is trained opera singer and He has classical vocal Technique and do it wonderfully!..Last perfect note is a high E6 for 7 seconds....for that reason I like Dimash!
