Great vid man . tiny suggestion . I would apply isotopic alcohol before applying the double sided tape . It removes will remove any oily residue and make the tale sick better . don't you wish turnbuckles should come with a tool.

Thanks. I was being a bit careless and assumed the parts should be clean so they should stick together. I didn't account for the oil and stuffs being on them. I should have cleaned them before applying the adhesive regardless though. Indeed the turnbuckles should come with a rod to adjust them. Rummaging around the toolbox to find anything that fit inside that hole isn't fun.

What kv motor do you recommend for a beginner drifter? I normally race 1:10 buggys, but am unsure which kv motor to get in such a small car.

Depends on how big is your track. If it's under 2-3 meter wide 3500KV is easier to control. For bigger track 5500KV is better so it has enough rev to keep the car sideway in long corner.

I'd say either DRZ V2 or GLD. They are much better car than HGD1. Budget electronics will work well with either car. Nowadays you can get surpass rocket motor for $16-18 and $22 for DasMikro ESC, a great little ESC, much more powerful than the XC-10A I made a video about.
