Worlds oldest potholes

Yup. I live about an hour from there and took my daughter there when she was a teenager. She went to college in the Berkshires so we would go through Shelburne Falls often.

A piece of sand can make huge glacial potholes or a pearl in bivalves ( mollusks ). Nature is amazing

I remember going here for a overnight field trip back in middle school studying local geology. We spent time here and at several other locations including the Beneski Museum and the Dinosaur Footprints.

Do they still allow swimming in the potholes we would camp in the area and jump around all day in the holes as kids in the 70s!😆

The usually cutoff is because these photos are typically posted as shorts that only can be a minute long. This is a full video that was meant to play as a loop for other platforms, so nothing was missed.
