@@SuperLuminalElf Agreed. Here's my take: Jimi came up with the idea that the sounds that were possible to get from an electric guitar should be unlimited. Buckethead is proving him right. Just listen to EXP from Axis: Bold as Love and then ponder that Jimi did that in the late 60s!

my comments from 4years ago, when i stumble across BH its addictive. i love guitar my whole life have had 5 in 50 years .right now have 2 and cant play, but he has inspired me more than any musician . Barron was the song that got me started. glacier has become my favorite. Far 5. and Hornet part 4. at least 2 x a day all 3, a person would think by now i would look for something new. i was for 10 years, and i heard BH, there is nothing gives me that feeling like BH Comfortable numb, by pink Floyd was my favorite guitar solo for 40 years, then i ran across BH...... there is so much to explore some of it i do not want even listen to. but that's BH. just having fun , that is why i think he is the greatest musician. he can do it all, every sound we hear is BH except his drummer

Now that's what I'm talking about!! This is why I'm a huge fan to all guitarists. I remember watching a clip of Woodstock and a black guitarist (Jimi Hendrix) was onstage playing "The Star Spangled Banner" and what awed or wowed me was that almost every person at the concert was quiet....no let me rephrase that....Almost everybody there was mesmerized by the unique sounds coming from his guitar. I don't know about all of you, but I can't even get a small group of kids to be quiet for a couple of minutes to order food for them at the drive through...😁😫...but Jimi had hushed a group or thousands/10 thousands. FREAKIN' AWESOME!!! When I hear Buckethead play his guitar, I get the same vibe as those people at Woodstock. I am mesmerized by the sounds coming from his guitar and you definitely have my undivided attention. BUCKETHEAD ROCKS!
@Lu11abi5 жыл бұрын
hushed thousands...you got me with that! 💖
@klauskinski67454 жыл бұрын
The reason everyone at woodstock was quiet & mezmerized by the musicians/music is simply because 90% of the people were high on LSD lol And the other 10% were high on gorilla tranquillizers XD But I get what you're saying. The guitar is indeed a magical instrument. Also people that appreciate guitarists like Buckethead are usually mature enough & well mannered that they know to shut up when someone's performing. People that attend a pop concert are mostly teens & spoiled adults that just yell & be annoying. And the sad thing is that nowadays the majority of people are constantly filming at concerts. I will never understand the meaning behind this. Since a concert is supposed to be a cathartic experience where you can just shut of the outside world & live in the moment. Forget all your troubles & just embrace the music. But apparently for some people it's more important to show other people that they were there instead of experiencing the concert fully. It's sad really how the world slowly but surely goes downhill with each day. But Buckethead is my source of hope & peace. His music is universally applicable. Since his style & compositions are so versatile there's something for each situation. I can't recall the last day I didn't to Buckethead. I at least listen to 1 song a day. His music has become essential to maintain the quality of my life lol. Peace to you all fellow like minded brothers & sisters

Im no advocate of drugs whatsoever because angelic music like this will get you high on dopamin & restore your inner peace just fine. I saw people of all colors & faiths hugging each other & living out their life in peace. To say I love Buckethead & his music would be an understatement. No words could ever describe this revolutionary of the guitar of the 21th century. Im sure that the next generations of the upcoming 50 - 100 years will surely teach about the work of Buckethead in their music history classes. Buckethead plays the soundtrack to my life. He has fitting music for every scenario you can apply your life to. For weddings, for love expressions, for sharing friendship together, for paying homage to unique person, use it to cope with grief or sadness, for remembering your childhood & for nostalgic moments & so much more.... My ultimate goal as a guitarist is to dedicate Buckethead a few albums some day, I composed for him Bless you all friends & spread love rather than hate ! Peace

@Shangrilla _ No he wasn't. He was overrated. My ears are clean....He was a legendary drug addict! He wasn't educated and was limited. For his time he was okay...no where near legendary status. There were over a dozen guitar players at the time much more genius than Hendrix...You've been brainwashed into believing he was the best...open your eyes!
@omniken664 жыл бұрын
@Shangrilla _ First off just because someone is all over the the net isn't a testament of their greatness....there are many a people that would agree with me when it comes to Hendrix...sure he was a cool dude that took drugs so people connect on that level. In my opinion he was a better song writer than he was a guitar player. Sure for his time he was a "good" player ...but he made what 3 albums and a bunch of live concerts released over the last 50 years? Growing up in that era many that connected with him were stoners. He's said to be legendary and prolific mostly because he died young. I'm not trying to take anything away from him....but not giving him more credit than what he's really do either....As an example Yngwie makes mention to him not because of his guitar playing...but because he torched his guitar on stage...so that influenced him to be a guitar player...because he thought that was cool. He didn't care about Hendrix playing at all....Many are fascinated by Hendrix because he dressed like a pimp...smoked dope and played guitar...he was a sign of the times

@@omniken66 You are right Ken. Saw him several times, the last being the Maui concert. He was great at getting sounds that no one had heard until then out of a guitar.. Much better writer than player. Tremendous innovator and showman. Many times had to have someone tune his axe. Stay well brother. This 50 year old Buckethead kid is the real deal.

What I really dig about Buckethead is Brain is humble no ego type of person The Mask represents his mysterious side of alter ego person that is devoted to guitar genius he really is .His Teacher Paul Gilbert .Great dude ,great friend. Bad ass guitarist too .We all are friends .No one yells out hey I'm better than you. We are different each with unique style .I do s tribute .Called Bucket-Ed because my name is Ed. Paul and I did sound for John Nady developer & inventor of wireless guitar system .All is like some crazy dream but yep still living it. Pike 65 favorite my whole family knows I love to play along to that album .And I was flattered when my ex girl friend asked me if I was Buckethead. I wanted to lie to her but couldn't. Haha Hail Buckethead. All true magic in music. .Slash ? Hmm ? Great guitarist but I think I like Buckethead more. !!; Paul too ..❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Asi es, Bucket ya superó todo el virtuosismo que se pueda alcanzar con la guitarra eléctrica en este mundo.
