Buckethead's music without a doubt saved my life. Found out my son's mother and love of my life was cheating on me and shattered my soul completely, and the only thing keeping me from the brink of insanity was Buckethead. Thank you Brian Patrick Carroll for saving my life.

If you love something set it free. If it comes back to you its yours. If it doesnt it never was. My Beloved Parents , i was running from hospitals to nursing homes, for meals and their care, crying like a newborn baby. Bucketheads tracks Homing Beacon, Yokohama, Greenskeeper and the Electric Tears album saved me from death while dealing with the blackest, darkest most terrifying things ive ever seen , witnessed, heard and felt in my lifetime. Stay strong man, Brian gives us this amazing music for a reason, no vocals because the music touches every emotion always. God Bless .

I just turned 60 2 weeks ago and just discovered Buckethead myself a couple of months ago. I've listened to and bought music since the early 70s. Lately, it has been very difficult to find any music that I liked, particularly anything remotely new. I had thought I had gotten beyond the point when any band or musician could surprise or move me. Nope.... Buckethead is a force of nature. I am astounded at his creativity and diversity. Just amazing stuff....

@@88belfry agreed. I saw him live in a small club in Philadelphia (I forget the name, but it's closed down now anyway) the diversity in the crowd was as diverse as his song catalog. Black, White, Asian, Latino, even a few Native Americans. Ages from 6 year old kids to 80 year olds. Men and women of every orientation. And most of us just sat and watched him play. He handed out small toys like he does with all his shows (I got a Darth Vader Figurine) That was a good night.

This is such a musical journey. You don't need drugs or alcohol to let your mind travel. This song on it's own can get you higher than any drugs could. It has this child like innocence & wonder to it. And yet it feels mysterious & haunting. This song to me is about some major life decision. Afraid of the unknown, holding on to the past even though you need to start a new chapter, the past is all you know & walking a new path is always combined with a certain risk, whether you're on the right path or not. Often times you need to travel a certain amount before you can judge if the path is leading somewhere. Because sometimes roads that look nice & inviting may welcome you to addiction, depression,or other negative & bad circumstances. Never judge a book by it's cover. Sometimes it's best to walk the path through the storm & down the rain so you may arrive at a peaceful valley where the sun is shining in the end. Themes of self discovery & decision making in life. Wow it just blew my mind that I got this thought spontaneously upon hearing this beautiful masterpiece for the 100+ times lol Need to write a poem eventually

I ran into a nice lady a few years ago and we began talking about music. She told me her and her husband were moving to Nashville. She told me about Buckethead... I was skeptical as she wrote down some tracks I should go home and listen to. She told me, almost prophetically that this would change my life!! It most certainly has, I have even changed my approach to songwriting and stopped trying to make everything fit into its own little box. I now perceive music differently and with less constraints. This music is so calming and actually makes me glad that I am alive. Thank you sweet lady and thank you God for this gift. Thank you for Buckethead.

I have heard of the name Buckethead before and even seen picture of a mask with a Kentucky Fried Chicken bucket on his head. KZbin have recommended Buckethead time and time because I have listen to Joe Satriani a lot. Thought to myself, anyone with a bucket on his head playing guitar had to sound crazy, and will not listen to crap like that. Months and months go by, KZbin still recommended and I swipe to close it, but I may have hit a different button or touch something on the screen and it plays the song. About to close the video, then a part of a slow guitar solo came on, and it was just my kind of music. Listen to it through and I find myself stop listening to rap crap now. Because of Buckethead, I stopped being judgemental and hear it out first and give it a try first, otherwise I will be missing out on some good stuff in life in general. Just known Buckethead 4 weeks now and my mp3 Playlist is full of Buckethead. Rock on!!

Lost my home, lived with family/relatives, it was a nightmare having to deal with all the stress they put us through.every night, I listened to a buckehead album and just drew. I still can’t believe how long it’s been and I can’t believe how long it’s been since I’ve listened to a buckethead song. I’m glad to see that he’s still an active guitarist. Ninja : I truly get the nightmare, a serious injury took away a lot , ended up living with family...yes....daily torture..and the worst part...loss of control of things .I too am an Artist . I believe there are forces at work which realign our destiny . Regardless of self comfort , or ego ...it places us where we MUST go , although we cannot see all the reasons why at that place in time . At the end of all the peril..even my ability to hold a pen or pencil to draw was even taken from me . Many different surgeries later...I am gaining back more artistic ability than I ever had before . I was forced to have Art as the main focus of my life..the only focus of my life ...10 years of truly walking through hell.....but destiny will place us where it wants us...not the other way around …..may your path be peaceful..and enduring .

Had to check this out. I guess I'm backwards. I've already listened to Door Number 4 by Ty Tabor (great tune!)

I do. I sat in my vehicle in a parking lot above it all and watched the heat lightning strike in synch with Kansas storm. I was truly a great trip.
