Glacier National Park's 2024 Vehicle Reservation System Explained

They make it sound like it is a positive that you can go to Apgar Campground. What they didn’t do was tell this changed information when you booked your campground. Now you have to get a vehicle registration. What good is it to camp in a park you can’t visit? If you have reservations in the campground it should include a vehicle registration.

This is very helpful. The vehicle reservations for the first week of July were gone in 2 minutes! I couldn't believe it!

We went to Canyons National Park and they timed reservations with a 2 hour window. Kind of like, ever 2 hours 100 cars could go through. There were no crowds at most places and it was very nice. Five years ago, it was gridlocked for miles.
