I don’t this the band mates have any dislike of one another. I think it was more a mater of Daniel Johns feeling type cast, or stuck in a box, so to speak. I don’t think his new music is particularly good, but it is different. I’m guessing that is refreshing for him.

First time I heard Straight lines on the radio I didn’t like it at all, but by the end of the day it had stuck with me for some reason and I grabbed the CD single - yeah remember those? Anyway I think it’s Silverchairs greatest song and this is an awesome version.

Really good arrangement. Another Like A Version where there's a lot of production that isn't being played - in this case the bassline, the synth pads and the vocal backing. That said, the keyboard guy seems to be holding the synth pad at the end, despite playing the (great) piano line for most of the song.
