That was the one place where they misfired. The rest of the trailer was perfectly fine. Denzel looks like he is going to be playing the training Day version of Denzel And some idiot must have thought it was perfectly fine to throw Jay Z in there. Who in their right mind would do that?

As stupid as the idea is, I thought this might be passable and then the song started and I remembered all the ridicule of mentioning Gladiator 2 this past years. edit: Forgot the scene where a Elden Ring boss came riding a rhino, cue the facepalm from The Naked Gun.

​@@comebackguy8892it's a movie set in a real historical time period with some effort put into getting the facts right.. soo when they disregard that for modern American political reasons it's infuriating.. like the casting of Caracalla who should be Arab looking not a pasty looking white guy...but why would they white wash in this current climate you ask? Well that's because white guys have to be villains and Arabs or black actors cannot be bad guys

You say they made the gladiators fight in war reenactments, the first movie did this also if you remember when Maximus wins the first battle in the Colosseum the Emperor says that this wasn't what actually happened in the battle

We all love rap it's not exactly underground anymore it just made the trailer look goofy. Rap can look kinda funny out of context, like with gladiators. If a gladiator killed an opponent and said "that's what's up" we'd both be laughing. 😂

I ain't watched the trailer fully but i heard Kanye is in it. Rap music in a period piece ain't supposed to be it i know most would argue but.... If you do do it please please please.... For the life of you.... Don't use HIS!!! Not Kanye Guy can't rap for his life He has no delivery. No emotion. He just talks slightly loud basically It's actually baffling why he's successful in the genre I've heard he's a great producer. If so That's what he oughta stick to. I think I've heard some of his work as a producer and remember it being nice. As far putting his own vocals on the track Big No.

The College Dropout - changed what rap was MBDTF - is a masterpiece Late Registration - incredible The life of Pablo Vultures 1 is a banger All you have to do is look at his numbers. In your opinion, he can't rap, but I'd say rap isn't your vibe if this is your opinion. Edit: As a producer he wrote, produced, layed the beats, most of Jay-Zs, The Blueprint Man is a genius when it comes to the rap game
