Gladiator II - Movie Review

Great review as always! I loved the original "Gladiator" but without the magnetism of Russel Crowe or Joaquin Phoenix in addition to some of the silly CGI animals (those crazy looking dogs which come out of nowhere). I felt emotionally let down but did enjoy the battle scenes. This movie should have been named "The Alternative Gladiator" - close enough to the original but the story was a big disappointment for me. I was not invested in this movie to be honest. @@jimmydaves The original Gladiator is one of my favorite films. I was excited to see this one, but it was ultimately a letdown. I still think it's a good movie, but it could have been so much better.
