That looked like a lot of fun. Thank you for the tip on the shoe rack. I will definitely be looking that one up.

I did 2" AEV Mojave lift with their geometry brackets on 37s. Kept the ride just like stock but gave me plenty of lift for clearance and flex. Trying to decide between 4.88 and 5.13 gears now.
@FarFromOrdinary2 жыл бұрын
Nice! That's really good to know. I'm kinda glad that 1.5" didnt affect the geometry too much. Yeah it's really a toss up between 4 88 and 5 13. Such a personal preference especially considering how you use your Jeep.

Hello, I just bought a Mohave 23, do I need a lift for 37" tires? I don't do off road, I only drive on the sand in the beach when I go fishing or mud. Thank you so much. The video is awesome!
@FarFromOrdinary Жыл бұрын
Need? No. But it will definitely rub a lot on the inner fenders if you do off road. The AEV 2" spacer is a good starter lift to fit those 37" tires!

You mentioned not hitting the bump stops as much...Did you add bump stop extensions? If not, you probably increased the distance needed to hit the jounce bumpers.
@FarFromOrdinary2 жыл бұрын
Ah, that totally makes sense Mike. We did not add bump stop extensions.

Did you have to reprogram the computer for the gears and tires? If so how did you do it?
@FarFromOrdinary2 жыл бұрын
Yep sure did, used the Tazer Mini to set the tire size at 36.5.

It was! This was way out in SW Arizona near Quartzsite, unsure of the trail name here.

Have you considered a partial body wrap to protect or reduce pin striping? There are a lot of products out there.
@FarFromOrdinary2 жыл бұрын
We've thought about that, but we've heard that it's hell trying to remove it? We were thinking of just rhino lining the whole dang thing!
@Wm.Havens2 жыл бұрын
@@FarFromOrdinary Hahahahaha... NOOOOOOOO! Check for a product that can be removed. Another option are magnetic business signs, custom print anything or nothing at all.
@FarFromOrdinary2 жыл бұрын
@@Wm.Havens hahaha no rhino why? Ya the doors on the gladiator are aluminum, we had looked into those magnetic protection things.
@Wm.Havens2 жыл бұрын
@@FarFromOrdinary You've got me started looking for solutions. Rhino could be stolen easily, some wraps are a pain to remove. The best I think is vinyl, there are many examples of off roaders being wrapped. I like the digital camo look myself. Do a YT search for camo wraps. Best of luck to you!

Question I’m new to the gladiator group. I have a 2020 Mojave came with 37’ tires and has 4.11 gears, with the tow package, so do I really need to re gear my Jeep? I don’t tow anything and it runs good on the highway and I’m in 8 gear stock Mojave lift and daily driver
@FarFromOrdinary Жыл бұрын
I've never heard of any issues from not regearing. At worst it'll cause your transmission to work a little harder and it does put more stress on the axles. Its like wearing a shirt that is 3x to small for you; you could probably fit into the shirt just fine, but it'll be better to have a shirt your size.

Nice rig, I have a 2022 Mojave, was thinking about 37s.... would i need a lift? TIA
@FarFromOrdinary2 жыл бұрын
Thanks! Depends on how you'll use it. If you intend to off-road, then yes. Really any spacer lift will work great and will let you keep the OEM Fox's.

Have you had any issues with the new tire coming off the bead with the stock wheel and wider tires?
@FarFromOrdinary2 жыл бұрын
Absolutely zero issues not even so much as a burb, even down to 12-14 PSI
@jeffsayegh3282 жыл бұрын
What are you using for a spare tire? I was first thinking of running 37's on my Gladiator Rubicon, but found that the 37, if mounted in the stock location will rub on the track bar. I've heard that some 37's will fit, but every off road shop I talked to said no.
@FarFromOrdinary2 жыл бұрын
We're running a full size spare, 37", without it being aired down. They had to remove a small piece of shielding but it fits, and it's never once dragged. It definitely touches the trackbar with zero clearance, but I guess I've never thought that to be an issue.

Love your rig! When you say you did a 1.5” lift , do you mean front and rear 1.5” or just the front? which lift did you go with? Looks great
@FarFromOrdinary2 жыл бұрын
Thanks!! Yep we did a 1.5" spacer on front and rear. Made my Rock Krawler. Basically just enough to get the tires in there, but as we've found out recently, there's still quite a bit of rubbing depending on how you run off road.
@jasonlovell39342 жыл бұрын
Looks like the rock crawler suspension spacers doesn’t come with a bump stop extension. That’s what will prevent the rubbing. And a good spotter can get you up that ledge without a problem.
