My mojave is a few weeks old same color. It’s a beauty straight from the factory. When the warranty is up I’ll definitely have some upgrades done

Cool beans - Any mods you want to do has nothing to do with your warranty unless they can prove that a part you added caused another part to fail. The best idea is to find a dealership that is off-road friendly and check with them on what you want to do. We have a few dealerships in our area that are great in regards to modded Jeeps and we have many that are terrible.

We are kindred spirits. I have a Rubicon but am in the process of making almost all the same upgrades you have on your truck. The Teraflex website says you need less than 4.75 backspacing on the rear rim for the extended travel sway bar to avoid rubbing. I believe those rims have 5.2. Are they mounted with a wheel spacer or flush to the hub? If the later, have you noticed any rubbing between the rear sway bar and wheel?

I mean, I could say you should have gotten the rubi but selling those shocks alone should probably cover an arb air locker for the front and you get to keep the hydro bumps and beef... I never plan on pounding my truck relentlessly which is why I'm fine with the standard frame the Rubicon has, and the rubi doesn't need to be regeared like the others since the transfercase is just so much lower. That hood looks amazing, but I also love the rubi hood and aftermarket accessories fit it much better. Build looks amazing though and that thing must be unstoppable on the trails... especially if you have the belly armored up and just drag whatever needs to be dragged over. . After seeing someone's video where they bobbed the bed to 4' I can't stop thinking about that. But I'd prefer a flatbed like the PCOR one or RSI smart tray. Really sets off the gladiators style like a 79 series and cleans up a lot of the departure issues.

I truly bought this Mojave for the style of it both exterior and interior, the fact the frame and some brackets are beefed up and it comes with hydraulic front bump stops is a great bonus, so all in all I love it

@@TheEPICBeardedGinger I’m so glad I found this video. My plan has been to get the 2021 Sport S w/ max tow, add the Ripp supercharger, same teraflex/ falcon suspension, but with 35s. I see you have 37s on yours. I’d love to do that but would I have to re-gear the 4:10? If so what ratio and how does that affect the rip superchargers performance? I’ll be using mine as a daily with some mild weekend off-roading here in the sunshine state. Thanks for the great video.

How did you make the front shocks work? Did you drill the shock sleeves for the 14mm bolts or did you install the mojave shock bushing kit from teraflex? Thanks in advance

Did you use caster correction brackets? I have a 2021 jt rubicon diesel, I did the teraflex 3.5” lift with the front lower ir control arms. I have 37” bajaboss mt tires and it feels rough. I have stock fox shock with shock extensions for now. I’m not sure why it’s so rough, I was thinking maybe if I add the caster correction brackets will smooth it out. FYI it feels rough at speeds over 55 and 60. I also installed the rear drag link relocation bracket and front steersmarts drag link

We love the Baja Boss ATs. Low rolling resistance, weight is good, tread pattern is pretty aggressive but quiet. Lots to like here. We've run them on most of our vehicles this year and they've done very well.

The thing that concerns me about all vehicle wraps is possible damage to the actual paint after years of being baked onto the surface. Especially this protective stuff that's basically designed to melt. 5-10 years from now when you want to remove/replace it, will it still be a firm stretchy material that comes off same as it went on? Or a crumbly mess that needs to be practically sanded off?

Question with the extended travel rear suspension. Terraflex claims close to 17” wheel travel, you are saying 16 but with stock stock mounts it looks like closer to a 12” long travel shock? Do they mean 16” articulation which is still good for a gladiator with a sway bar attached or do they mean 16” of vertical wheel travel?

Yeah, no we'd still get the Mojave. The frame enhancements, the steering wheel and seats... the hood... Really the only Mojave downside is the lack of swaybar disconnect which is easily solved as we did here.

Hey bro I recently got the terraflex 3.5 inch lift on my Mojave too but recently it when I hit a couple bumps the rear of the truck sounds like it hitting like wood planks or something of that sound and feel. Is that normal ? Hope that makes sense

They are easy. 8 bolts and it will slide right off. I removed my Rubicon bumper (plastic one) and installed a stamped steel rugged ridge stubby ventador one in like 5 hours including my winch in 105f heat. I was drenched in sweat, but it's fairly easy to do.

Its easy minus trimming almost two inches nicely off the bottom edge of the bumper so it cleanly clearly the Mojave skid plate.

That… I one tough question, I love the economical power, milage, cheap fuel and weight carrying ability of the EcoDiesel but I love how my Mojave drives when I want to enjoy my drive instead of just cruise. So in short I love daily driving my Mojave but prefer an EcoDiesel for long adventure trips.

With the additions how has this build improved actual or measurable performance versus a stock Mojave.....it'd be nice if you were to incorporate cost into the equation as well as a cost/benefit/reward factor? I'm trying to grasp just what more are you getting for the investment? Is the Mojave with all the new additions a more capable desert racer or is it a transformed Rubicon? (Please don't mention it's stance or the look of the vehicle because those variables are subjective.) Bottom line, what will this Mojave do that the stock will not do? Thanks for considering what some may see as a stupid set of questions.

Realistically the Mojave in its stock form was designed for sand dunes and long desert roads, so all upgrades we have done have brought major improvements to both speed, handling and off road capabilities. As for cost into this particular build... its a lot.

I know this is an old post, but I just read it, and so will someone else; I picked up a super deal on a new 2022 Mojave (long debate over Rubi vs Mojave), the savings over a Rubicon (having to go somewhere else to get one) will offset all my upgrades, LIKE better suspension. Watch the Teraflex video comparison vs long travel Teraflex. I never need a front locker, I don't tear up my truck on some crazy rock that is for little man to tackle, and if lifted it won't center as often so the rear locker will get me there. I would rather do that crazy big rocks with a side by side if I just have to go there. I prefer the better ride on driving these rough roads day after day after day, vs the not so smooth stock Rubi, and to get there faster too all in comfort, winner winner. I will be installing the Teraflex long travel soon enough. Smoother = Faster.

what did you do to fit the shocks? the factory mojave susp is garbage. I went Clayton springs which ride great but im tired of being held back by the factory shocks. Is Falcon popping the factory fit or did you have to fab to fit?

I had to install JT rear Falcon shock bushing too and bottom and machined a spacer for the front upper offset.
