When I flew to Europe for the first and probably last time, I landed in Switzerland. I could think only of Romans fighting ginger and blond barbarians. I also remembered Hannibal. Then when I flew to China from there, I remembeed Marco Polo. :-) Places have more worth the more history of them you know.

Same composer (Hans Zimmer) so some similarities. However I get different vibes from them. The Gladiator one is a little more intense and dramatic while the Pirates one feels more joyful and adventurous

When i listen to this music, i imagine a harsh battle of two very powerfull beings, that once friends, now apart becuase of different beliefs, they fight to see wich ideal will prevail, they fight for many hours, everypunch could destroy a city, after 7 hours, they are exausted, but still fighting, one of them gave a fatal bloe, but the foe was not gave up, and he sacrifices himself in a attack that ends with both of them

Somebody have the whole Gladiator soundtrack? I had it it in a 2 hour adio caset, but I lost it somwhere. Damn that was awesome from the beginning to its end. I recognise, I cried like it was a deep cleansening when I heard it first, (of course after I watched the movie).
