When this movie came out in 2000 I was stationed in Germany with the Army...when it was played at the post theater I went to see it and over two hours later I left the theater a changed man...this movie was a great experience and the soundtrack the most beautiful and moving I ever heard...later on when the soundtrack was released I got it and then spent a few weekends touring around the Roman ruins sites in Germany...I would wear my headphones and listen to this music while walking around the ruins...it was such a great way to transport yourself to another time for a while....20+ years later and this is STILL my favorite movie and soundtrack.

Absolutely love this movie, music, Russell Crowe and it's meaning. Can not help getting so emotional and eyes watering up no matter how many times I hear this music or see the movie.. Absolutamente emocionante. No me cansa. MEMENTO MORI!! Que no se nos olvide. Hasta entonces hagamos algo por ayudar, por conseguir paz y justicia social. Hay que despojar a este planeta tan maravilloso de la maldad y el egoismo que habita entre nosotros. Y esta musica tan bella me lo recuerda constantemente para no rendirme.
