Being a practitioner of Kendo and now german Longsword there are a good number of fundamental crossovers which makes it really kinda neat. Especially when you get into the posture of Ringeck as well as the execution of the Nachreissen.

Komm zu uns auf unsere Seminare, lerne, werde Trainer und mach deine eigene Gladiatores Trainingsgruppe auf ... so einfach ist das! So habe ich es auch gemacht und nun sind wir fast 200 Leute in München :)

You guys wouldn't happen to know of any schools similar to yours in the US would you? Flying to Europe from California for training seems a bit expensive so any recommendations you might have will be regarded quite highly.

Best resource currently available on the web: www.communitywalk.com/HistoricalEuropeanMartialArts(WesternNorthAmerica) There are plenty of informal study groups floating around nationwide as well, especially here in California (sadly, none way the frak up here in Far Nor Cal... alas).
